Good stay

The cable channel selection does not have sports. The fire alarm went off at 3am due to a water pipe broke in the ceiling of the first floor. Not sure why the alarm went off. The staff was great.

In fairness to the hotel, I’m not anywhere near Iowa. I’m sure it’s a lovely place (I’ve rebooked for a stay in July), but while it was always my intention to book in July, somehow when I got the email confirmation, it showed a February booking. I contacted Hotels.com immediately, and while the agent I interacted with tried to help, ultimately there was no resolution. I’ll chalk this up as a lesson leaned…a $165 lesson.
