It's a lovely country hotel with a mix of ensuite rooms, and rooms that share a bathroom. It's obviously quite an old property and it would benefit from some modern touches such as a TV and a USB socket in the rooms. It has a fantastic beer garden out the back and a nice restaurant, which was absolutely packed - you get the feeling that half the population of Bundanoon eats there, in addition to the guests. My only grumbles are that (1) they don't do breakfast, so you have to head out into Bundanoon and (2) they were pumping music into the beer garden until quite late, and my room was right above it. All things considered though, I'd stay there again.

If you like quiet, this place is not for you. Stayed a Wednesday night, and the boom from the Scottish bands drums reverberated through the room. Then music started till 11pm, which I assume was staff cleaning as none was playing before. There was lots of train noise, which i expected some of, but it was constant. The room was ok and the food was lovely.

Old hotel with lots of character.Restaurant nice.

We stayed in a refurbished room it was a little dark mattress was very soft heating not adequate.Fridge available for common use.Restaurant downstairs food very nice.Hotel is across from the railway line.Bundanoon is limited but a nice break away.We loved Fitzroy falls great walk along the rim.

Great place to spend a long weekend, short walk to cafe's and if you needed to catch to train just over the road, it was quiet and staff were lovely, I will be back at some stage, the only thing I would say, you need to put a TV in the rooms, other wise a great find for us

The hotel has been well maintained and is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the best G&T in the bar and the staff were friendly and efficient . Reasonable rates and we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends who enjoy walking and visiting the quiet tranquility of a small town in the beautiful Southern Highlands.

We had a very comfortable stay in a Queen room with shared bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and easy to access. We really enjoyed our meal in the Saloon Bar too.

A step into another era with its furnishings and focus on country hospitality. Clean comfortable with luxurious soft furnishings. Bedroom is for sleeping only.
