Location was fine, bedrooms/kitchen were good. There was only one shower and the day we arrived, we sent a message to the owner to express concern. The owner acknowledged the broken and parts were ordered. No repair date was offered and there was a lack of urgency overall. My family spent 7 nights before we found a hotel. The owner refused to call a 24 hour plumber. We left having to pay for a full stay, despite our early departure. We messaged the owner midway through our stay expressing dissatisfaction with a shower that only dripped cold water. For rental properties, owners must repair key functions such as broken shower/faucet as they break. We spent almost 2k on a house for a Christmas family vacation with a very limited to in-existent shower. We asked for help and messages went answered 12 hours later or not at all. Family members unwilling to settle for sponge baths ended up showering at a nearby gym. Please do not give this owner your money. VRBO…please hold them accountable.
