「Excellent venue, great value and delicious dinner in the sports book」

「My “go-to” home away from home when i visit Davenport. Nothing fancy, clean and maintained, a good nights sleep and a good shower.」

「We were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff from the minute we walked in the doors. He even helped us with our luggage, and phoned us after we left to be sure we had a pleasant stay at his hotel - Budget Inn in DeWitt Iowa. We would recommend staying at this place, and we will stay here again in the future.」

「👍」

「Good: Room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Place was quiet as hardly anybody was there. Bad: No couch or comfortable chair to sit in. All the furniture consisted of was a small table and 2 kitchen chairs and 2 lamps. Extra Bad: Outside looked abandoned. Overgrown weeds everywhere! Windows were filthy and siding had dirt and cobwebs stuck everywhere.」

「Staff was nice, water pressure and shower head were excellent. However, the shampoo and conditioner were very obviously watered down, and there was no shower gel at all. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pipes knocked whenever we or anyone staying around used water. This is close to the highway, so be prepared for traffic noise. Hotel was otherwise clean and well taken care of.」

「Pretty dated」

「Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel is in desperate need of some major updates and maintenance. Our room had peeling paint, and areas of the ceiling that had clearly been patched were already peeling again. The stand holding the microwave and refrigerator was also broken. The pool area wasn’t much better. There was a hose running into the pool, and the hot tub was out of service with construction materials covering it. It was certainly not the relaxing environment you’d...

「The room was musty and dark, there needs to be better upkeep. The bedding ( bed skirts were dirty and if they are dirty then you shouldn't have confidence in the other things. If visiting you might want to bring Lysol, long pajamas to sleep in and slippers .」

「Many restaurants and bars around this hotel 」

「The room was clean and in working order. The staff was friendly and helpful.」
