Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two.

25th Anniversary
Great place but several maintenance issues on first day from no shower pressure or hot water in two bathrooms to ceiling fans not working in the un-air-conditioned central room.

An absolutely beautiful location on Lake Bacalar!
Very quiet and private. I enjoyed waking to the birds calling throughout the jungle. The absolute mirror image of the large heron fishing at the waters edge and the groups of parrots flying over were a wonderful sight! Maya Cala was a special find for my family get away!
