"If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. Waking up and going to sleep with a view of a lifetime is perfect. My teenager loved the loft bed and tv area upstairs. Although we couldn’t use the fireplace it was okay because with the heated floors it was so so toasty in there! Drive to Salida in 45 brek about 1.5 and 20 minutes from grocery and hot springs and horseback riding within 30 minutes. You don’t mind the drives because they are breathtaking! "

"Paz greeted and welcomed us when we arrived in the evening. She showed us around the dining area and showed the food and beverages available to us at any time during our stay. The Oxford room was so comfortable! The fireplace was the perfect touch! Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was delicious-Blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, fresh orange juice, and a fruit cup. Everything was presented so beautifully. Paz was so hospitable, the perfect host! We enjoyed hearing of the remodel and transformation of Buffalo Peaks by her husband and Paz. It was a treat to see multiple deer on the lawn as we began our day. Buffalo Peaks is in a beautiful area of Buena Vista and a delightful setting. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"River Haven was magical! The house and property are beautiful and cozy! The views of the river and mountains were so peaceful. It was incredibly refreshing to sit in the hot tub and watch the river and stars. The kitchen was small, but complete with all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasoning we needed. We had such a special family Christmas at River Haven. "
