We have just had a beautiful week. Accommodation clean, comfy and cosy. Location is just what we needed peace and quiet. Poppy the dog loved it even meeting the pigs. Thank you all for allowing us to stay at this lovely place looking forward to booking again.

A Quiet Hideaway

We liked the cottage and surroundings but we unfortunately had awful weather - only 2 days when it didn’t rain. When it rained - it poured and we stayed in the cottage on those days- We found the approach to the cottages very difficult driving - steep hills and sharp turns! We also had difficulty finding it. Also our neighbours left their outside light on on Friday night and came home at 3am. The light shone into our bedroom and kept us awake! We are sorry we missed you before we left We left at 9am.

Beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few nights!

A fantastic location with easy walking and driving access to the beautiful beach in Crackington Haven. Beautiful walks along the river too and plenty of places to explore. A 9 year old boy's heaven!! A gorgeous quiet area to escape from hectic London. Our cottage was cosy and comfortable and well equipped. The cream tea on arrival was well received too. We will definitely be making a return visit.

Lovely property in a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place.

Property was clean on arrival with a wonderful afternoon tea waiting for us with homemade scones. I can't fault it at all. All the basics there, however, i would recommend taking extra toilet roll WiFi strength is strong which is needed as there is no phone signal. Great little entrance area to store dirty walking boots and wet clothes (although may not need this is the summer months). The setting is beautiful, with a river running at the bottom of the field and plenty of woodland to explore. Looking forward to returning in the summer months.

Hidden Gem - Kallowen Cottage

Great little cottage with a super balcony overlooking the woods. Perfect for a family of four and a dog! Amazing walk to the beach/pub, great location and just what we wanted for a long weekend! Thank you guys!

Delightful setting

We had a great time. The dogs loved their morning walk down to the coast and playing in the meadows in the evenings. Our view was blissful and sitting on our balcony sipping a glass of wine was just what relaxing is all about. The place was just what we needed and the only downside was the holiday had to come to an end.

The owners are very economical with the truth .

I found the owners were very economical with the truth . No WiFi washing machine not in cottage in a shed requiring £1 coins the beach was terrible and the walk there .Not child friendly at all the shower works intermittently too cold too hot the bath well not enough tepid water to have one very very poor indeed which is why we left early on the Wednesday instead of the Friday.Never ever again would I book this cottage terrible.

This is a lovely cottage in an idyllic location, very quiet and within easy walking distance of Crackington Haven beach.
