"The property was wonderful. Secluded but just 10 minutes from the center of Dorset. It was like staying in a treehouse! Trees outside evey one of the MANY windows. Cozy, comfortable and just plain great to stay in. Would love to stay there again."

"What a special place! The cabin is so beautifully curated with such charming features—and the private setting immersed in nature—wow!—a swimming pond, hot tub, outdoor shower, but most of all the stunning views of stars forever. Very special. One note on directions—look for the mailbox with the number 10 on it and turn on that driveway since there is no mailbox with number 8. The towns nearby are so charming too! Don’t miss Hapgood’s General Store for breakfast or lunch—yum! It was a pleasure to communicate with Will and Sarah. Highly recommend!"

"This property is absolutely gorgeous and offers breathtaking, peaceful country bliss that pictures simply cannot capture! The patio views are stunning, Charles is a wonderfully prompt and helpful host, and the house is incredibly well-stocked with every necessity you could need. It feels wonderfully secluded yet sits just 20 minutes from town. The home is charmingly older and just needs a few minutes of fresh air upon arrival to clear out the initial mustiness. Tip for future guests: Bring a backup waterproof Bluetooth speaker for the pool room, as the provided one is great but loses its charge quickly in the heat with no outlets nearby. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it! My daughter is an extremely hard to please 12 year old, (this trip was for her mostly before school) and she even wrote a review on one of their beautiful provided post cards giving the home and stay an amazing 9.5 out of 10 for a review, that speaks volume in itself!! Every couple days she’s talked about missing Vermont and wanting to go back! We have no reason to not return if we visit Vermont again."

"We had an excellent stay at Scott’s lake house! The deck was our favorite spot, with a fantastic view and comfy seating. Scott provided tons of information and was prompt responding to all messages. The listing pictures are darker than the actual house, and we were happily surprised by how nice the home is! The kitchen had lots of basics and was very spacious to cook in."

"If you get the chance stay here! So quaint, cozy and clean. The welcome basket was delicious and having coffee in the morning was a bonus! Terry was so gracious to restock our firewood. The night before we left they brought us blueberry muffins for breakfast! Highly recommend! Thank you"

"One of the best places I ever stayed. We had a great family trip here with 10 family members. Incredible view of the stars at night, and a nice space to enjoy during the day! We loved the beach area, the lake and the kayaks. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good summer get away from the city life!"
