It was cozy, warm and inviting! Minutes to downtown for shopping and restaurants. Was in a quiet neighborhood. We spent evenings relaxing in the rockers on the back deck.

This cabin is exceptional in every way. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. Kelly and Chris were incredibly responsive and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend it!

Great location and beautiful views! It was in the mountains but close to the Nantahala National Forest. Cabin was very clean and kitchen was fully stocked. One change I would make is to have a sofa bed in the living room. We have 2 teenagers that don’t like to sleep in the same bed so one of them had to sleep on an air mattress. However, I knew that would be the case so I came prepared. We will definitely book again!

Great Cabin, Close to Town

One of the best cabins we have stayed in, in Bryson City. Well equipped, very clean, comfortable beds. Just a few minutes from town and the national park. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and clean cabin

Very impressed by the cleanliness and amenities provided at the cabin. We had everything we needed, and close to all the local attractions we planned to visit in Bryson city. Would definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future!

Amazing Short Vacation!

This place was absolutely amazing to stay at. Extremely clean and relaxing with enough space to fit all four of us comfortably. Contact with the owners was super easy! This place is perfect for a small get away just to relax and have fun!

Fishing trip

Had a great stay for a long weekend fishing trip. Property was very clean and easy to get to from from down town Bryson City. Would stay here again if in the area.

Perfect retreat & location!

Sleepy Oak Cabin is a beautiful, clean, serene, & conveniently located property. It’s super close to cute/quaint Bryon City, an easy drive to Harrahs, beautiful views, & close to hiking trails. The fire pit & hot tub are added pleasures to relax by or in at the end of the day. The beds are comfortable. The hosts, Kelly & Chris, are very responsive & helpful. We had such a great time there & definitely would stay there again!

Beautiful house, love Bryson city every time I go. Only downside was the lack of a dishwasher. Perfect escape into nature!

Great Location and Great Cabin

We normally don't leave reviews after stays, but this place warrants one. It is a great location, super convenient to town yet you still feel like you're in the mountains the way it is cited. The cabin was very clean, and extremely comfortable for our family. It makes a perfect base camp for daily excursions, and it will definitely top our list for future stays.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The cabin was spotless upon arrival and the location was exactly as described-very convenient to town. The cabin was private but not remote. The hot tub and fire pit were great and we loved viewing the stars on a clear night. The beds were very comfortable. This cabin was everything we were looking for and we would definitely stay again. Kelly was a great host and communicated promptly and clearly. Thank you for such a lovely place to escape!

Polar Express Trip

They cabin was great. Had all the amenities needed and even more. The location was perfect. It was just a couple minutes out of town, which was far enough to feel like you are in a cabin in the woods but still close enough to be useful for shopping downtown.

Annual Polar Express Train Ride

We came for our 6th annual polar express train ride as a family of four … the cabin was beautiful and secluded but not isolated. It was perfect for our trip and we enjoyed it immensely!! Short trip to town for needed items but also could not hear the traffic noise. We will be back :)
