The staff was amazing and welcoming and the property itself so beautiful. We know we visited early in the season and there were some kinks - breakfast wasn’t great but dinner was fantastic!! You won’t regret your stay here - incredible!

Our second stay at an Under Canvas, previously stayed at Grand Canyon. These are a fantastic experience and are usually so much more enjoyable and frankly upscale than any of the other usual local motels near national parks. The level of service, decor, etc. are easily comparable to higher end hotels like Kimptons, Ws, Conrads etc. Cannot recommend these enough.

Amazing dog friendly place. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My dog loved all the attention he got as well. The area was secluded and the night sky was beautiful

Location is great

Location and staff were professional. Disappointed in the food. I ordered a corn and black bean salad. I had to hunt for both of these ingredients. As a vegan protein is very important. The dressing was just ok. The broccoli wasn’t very cooked or steamed or whatever they should have done, sadly so lackluster we barely ate any. Taking just a small bit of pride in all items on the menu could go a long way in keeping customers happy. Hope you'll take this to heart.

Glamping at its absolute finest. We stayed two nights at UC Bryce Canyon and wish we could have stayed longer! The grounds were beautiful, remote, but felt safe with staff available 24-7. It was much colder at night than we expected and were able to offset that at least for a bit with our own wood burning stove (which was super fun to light up). Amenities were lovely and eco-conscious which was appreciated - can’t say enough good things about how comfy the bed and linens were. Our only gripe is that meals were on the high end (but absolutely tasty) for what you get and you pretty much had to eat at base due to the remote nature of the property.

We had a truly wonderful stay - made exceptional by the phenomenal staff, who were more attentive and welcoming than at many high-end hotels! It was heartwarming to see how genuinely happy and engaged everyone seemed. This experience offered the perfect opportunity to disconnect from electronics and reconnect with nature in the most peaceful setting. A real highlight was the evening musician - a beautiful and unexpected touch that made the atmosphere feel extra magical. What truly elevated our stay, though, were the thoughtful little details: complimentary hot chocolate, a selection of herbal teas, cozy blankets, hot water bottles, and of course, the s’mores by the fire. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the pull-chain shower. While the water was perfectly hot, the setup made showering a bit tricky, especially for someone like me with long, thick hair and I didn’t feel I would have been able to wash my hair with this set up. A more functional alternative, like a galvanized steel tub (indoors or outdoors) with a log-burning stove to heat the water, would have made this a 10/10 experience and somewhere I’d happily spend my entire trip in the U.S (at the various Under The Canvas locations). That said, this place is truly special, and the shower inconvenience didn’t take away from the overall magic. Thank you to the wonderful team at Under Canvas for such a memorable and restorative stay!

Need to be a better value

The issue with under canvas is the value. The concept is cool, but when you spend $500/night, you expect a hot shower and a comfy bed at least, even if in a tent. The issue is that not enough focus is put into creature comforts here. It’s like you’re simply paying to be eco friendly at the sacrifice of comfort. Just not how I want to spend my money. I’d pay $250 a night, but at almost double the price per night, it feels like greed has taken over since they’ve been purchased and the equity company is just looking for a nice ROI…. We won’t be staying at an under canvas again. Shame because they could be amazing.

The Fireplace only kept the place warm for 15 minutes and then you had to put more wood inside the fireplace. I had to take my family in the morning to my car to turn the Heater on,because I couldn’t handle how cold it was in the tent. It was terrible! The staff was great and the food they had was good too. I will not be staying here again due to how cold it was.

Lovely place to stay - staff were great and food was nice. S’mores In The evening is a great idea felt it was a bit too expensive but it’s well done considering it’s off the grid! Only critique is the chairs in the tent and the ones on the deck are not comfortable enough for lounging out relaxing in the peace and quiet and looking up at the stars which was the main thing for us - we want to rest but felt we couldn’t comfortably do that unless in bed. However given the setting i understand. Other than that all details are thought about and attention to detail is great - wonderful to have your own toilet and shower in the tent! 👍

Bryce Under Canvas is an incredible and unique experience. Absolutely love it here. Lanterns, fireplace, comfy beds, and such helpful staff. At night, enjoyed meeting like minded, wonderful people around the fire. Headed to bed with a hot water bottle to warm up our bed! Only 15min drive to Bryce Canyon and staff are excited to help you plan your hikes. Will definitely return.

Our family experienced a beautiful nights stay at Under Canvas Bryce Canyon. There were activities for the kids, great dining options and smores in the evening. The kids tent was a little too far from the main tent for them to sleep in by themselves so we had to split and put one parent and one child in each. The tent for the kids also had no heating so was very cold in the morning. Hot water bottles available in the evenings and plenty of blankets made it work.

This is a “glamping” experience. Great for people who love glamping I don’t know what I was expecting but it was too rustic for me. The view at night to star gaze was EPIC for that I was blown away. The staff was super nice too.

A Peaceful, Thoughtfully Curated Experience in Nature Our stay at Under Canvas near Bryce Canyon was absolutely exceptional. Tucked away in the serene countryside just outside of Antimony, Utah, the location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges and a true sense of peace and seclusion. It’s the perfect base for exploring Bryce, yet far enough away to feel immersed in nature. The tents were beautifully designed—both highly functional and visually appealing. We especially appreciated the unique open-air shower setup and the cozy wood-burning stove that made the cool desert evenings incredibly comfortable. The entire site feels intentional and well-crafted, right down to the details. The on-site dining was delicious, and the staff stood out as consistently helpful, attentive, and courteous. They offer daily activities, and each evening concludes with s’mores by the campfires—a charming touch we looked forward to. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the quietness and sense of safety. With no through traffic, there were no headlights or road noise—just pure stillness. It’s an ideal environment for families with young children, who can walk and play freely without concern. The pricing strikes a perfect balance: high enough to maintain a peaceful, respectful guest atmosphere, but still accessible for those seeking a premium experience in nature. Splurge on the star gazing tent! You won’t be disappointed.
