Cozy rural cabin near Texas A&M University

  • Rural property just 30 minutes from The Texas A&M University campus. Log cabin built in 2021 is set in a former Christmas tree farm for added charm. The property owners are nearby if you need assistance but are not intrusive. Firepit and BBQ areas are located near a covered porch complete with rocking chairs. Great views of the night sky. No internet, just peace and quiet. Full kitchen and large dining table. Sleeps 12 (10 adults, 2 children). Perfect for a corporate retreat, after an Aggie game or other family event up to 20 people. Events must be approved by the property owner prior to booking. Underage drinking is not permitted.

This is a delightful cabin perfect for a relaxing and slow-paced vacation. It’s far enough out the be quiet and close enough to town for shopping and the like. The host was friendly and responsive to messages. We had a lovely stay!

Got there late, but appreciated the ease of check in and cleanliness. Very nice cabin! Morning was really nice, sitting at the edge of a large pasture, very nice.

For the past several years we have come here for Thanksgiving and once in the spring and it is consistently clean and comfortable. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get out in the country away from road noise. A great place to recenter. 7 of us went the first few times, 8 the last couple and we have always been comfortable.

Perfection!

This is our second stay at the cabin and we love it! The best beds ever, and such a peaceful area. Plenty of parking, and the nicest hosts we have ever encountered. Will definitely make this a regular stop!

Excellent

Our stay was nothing but amazing. My 5 year old had so much fun running around the trees and my dog enjoy playing with the 2 dogies in the property. The cabin is really clean and perfectly decorated. We can’t wait to come back in August!

Great, remote location and comfortable home

We had a great time at this property, it was clean and organized, and ample open space outside with a wooden pergola and a fire pit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in staying here!
