"This hotel is extremely dated. They have a lot to offer to do on campus, but it’s not kept up with. The mini golf course was great, but you could tell that no one goes and brushes off the green areas, which makes it harder for kids to golf. The room was nice, but the beds were crap. Just needs a full makeover. The best and most positive thing is the location and the staff. "

"If I went back to Williamsburg, VA I would not stay at this hotel. The hotel had a lingering smell. The rooms look old and also had a musty smell. Not a good experience."

"First room had not been cleaned. Was quickly to another room. The hot & cold labels on the shower faucet were reversed. No fridge in rooms. Paid for 3 adults to be in room but only 2 towels were provided. No ice in machine."

"Our stay was comfortable with the hotel being very clean and bright. The breakfast offered plenty of options and the food was hot. I do wish that the coffee was inside the breakfast area instead of having to walk to the lobby each time for refills. Unfortunately the outside dining was a small area facing the parking lot- so not enticing to eat outside. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was very quiet which we really appreciated and was close to Williamsburg so a short drive each morning to get there. We would definitely stay there again as the staff is very helpful and pleasant. "
