Overall great property - Amazing location, friendly staff, and value for money. Rooms are in good condition, decent sized lockers, and overall good hostel. Not lots of common spaces but still my roommate and I became besties within minutes. Best part was the location as I could walk from central station anytime of the day and would feel relatively safe.

The room very clean, with basic amenities. Bathroom was small and well appointed. The breakfast was €12 extra, and was value for money and very convenient. My stay was value for money near the city centre. Nearby metro station (photo attached)

The room was very clean. Centrally located close to lots of historic places. Superb location and lot of restaurants nearby. Recommended to all. Only drawback the room didn't have hair dryer otherwise just awesome.👍👍👍

The location was ideal for attractions and train station access. Good internet. The staff was very helpful. The hotel could add some variety to the daily breakfast. Please schedule morning cleaning (vacuuming) of the first floor lobby outside of breakfast hours. There were a lot of mosquitoes and drain flies in the lobby which prevented us from hanging out.

I had a really great stay at La Troupe Grand Place. The location was amazing, super easy to walk to all the main attractions, and Brussels-Zuid train station is only 20 minutes away. I stayed in a 4-person mixed dorm room and it was ideal for my two day visit. Everything is beautifully clean and the shower was the best I’ve ever had in a hostel! You have a curtain to pull over your bed for privacy as well as your own light and charging ports. The bed was very comfy and spacious. As a woman sharing the room with three men, I felt safe and comfortable the entire time, everyone was very respectful of each other in terms of noise and lights etc. All the staff that I dealt with were very friendly and helpful; for example I needed to print a train ticket and it was no problem at all. They also recommended me events that were happening in the hostel and good places to eat nearby. Not negatives but just a couple of things to be aware of: it’s 3 euros to rent a towel and there is a luggage storage but you also need to pay for this. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I would definitely stay here or at one of your other locations again!

Great room for a family. Room was tidy, beds were comfy, basics were provided. Check in was a breeze. You can’t beat the location. Easy access to all the main tourist areas and train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Early check in was available for a fee, and we were so grateful for that after a long day of travelling. They have luggage storage lockers available on site (for a very reasonable fee). Would recommend!

I stayed in a mix room but I didn’t have any problems as a woman. I didn’t like going to the dining area and find so many flies everywhere. The place is super central and the staff were super nice and helpful

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city centre. The staff was very helpful. I also loved the vibe of the place. The reception/bar area felt cosy and safe for me as a woman travelling alone. I enjoyed just hanging out there, charging my phone, having a cup of tea or pizza. I will miss that delicious pizza! The breakfast was good, a bit crowded in a small space, but everyone was so friendly. The instructions for the laundry, actually the dryer, could be better, but I enjoyed my stay alot. I will stay there again if I am travelling to Brussles.
