Petit hôtel sympa

Hôtel très propre avec un bon accueil gentil. Chambre petite mais propre et lit un peu petit pour deux mais confortable (il faut dire que j'ai l'habitude de très grands lits)

Personnel accueillant, vue sur la basilique

Personnel de l'hôtel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre agréable mais petit bémol sur l'isolation, insonorisation interne/externe et un matelas trop mou. Agréable car proximité de la basilique et du parc.

A éviter fortement

A peine arrivé dans l'hôtel, nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de trouver notre chambre non nettoyée (draps taches de sang et odeur de vinaigre, grille d'aération pleinr de moisissure, toilette avec résidus sales, ET SURTOUT les "affaires" du client précédent: preservatif, bouteilles, affaires de toilettes) Voir photo jointe De plus nous avons fait par de ses soucis au réceptionniste et n'a pas résolu le problème! !!! Pour le bien des voyageurs, des établissement comme ceux-ci ne devraient pas proposer de tels services!

The rooms were not properly cleaned, no A/C, no fridge, quite noisy on main street direction. Even it is declared as Non-smoking rooms, were quity stinky! When trying to change the rooms, the staff was not friendly. There were bed sheets not changed in another room, hair on the floor.

el precio justifica el servicio

El precio justifica la ubicación y condiciones del hotel, un elevador muy pequeño y un poco complicado para llegar a las habitaciones, la comida del restaurante bastante cara y la atención del personal muy poco cortés

Staff were pleasant enough but I had a very dangerous plug socket in my room which sparked on plugging in the TV/gave my son a minor shock so we advised them. The Manager was horrified it had not been previously reported but nevertheless proceeded to risk an electric shock himself. Also the sheets smelt of dirty hair. The area is green and there was little going on when I stayed but it was a Sunday. It is necessary to travel to the centre and not that easy to park.

Besoin d'un hôtel pour un mariage en famille. Très bien situé, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de parking réservé, nous avons tourné un bon moment autour de l'hôtel avant de pouvoir se garer. Sinon bon rapport qualité prix et bon accueil.

Good value for money

The hotel is quite dated, more or less clean, but it's a 2* hotel so we didn't expect much; we just needed a place to sleep and a hot shower close to some friends' apartment, and we got that for a reasonable price. It would've been nicer if there was a shower curtain and if the heating was working but I suppose they turn the heating off in April, and it wasn't unbearably cold. We had a twin room, the beds were not so comfortable, but we had a view to the basilica and the park, and we were quite pleased with that despite the traffic noise. The location is not central, but it's only a 5-10 minute walk through the Elisabethpark to the Simonis underground station (the high street is only three stops away, at Rogier). We also walked to the city centre and it took us about 30-45 min, so it's not that bad. There's not much to do in the area, but there are a few good bakeries around and the hotel restaurant downstairs. The staff are friendly enough, and we generally felt very safe, as there were permanently two armed policemen / military in front of the hotel.
