Great Host and Beautiful Home

Perfect SD location for a family vacation! Keri was great with quick to respond to questions and needs we had. She had great recommendations for activities and assisted us in finding a jet ski rental! She was the perfect host!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Lake Campbell! The service was great, and we loved the breakfast bar with its delicious options. The lake access was beautiful and added to the relaxing atmosphere, making us feel very welcome.

Beautiful!!

We had a wonderful sibling/cousin gathering! Such a beautiful, peaceful setting!! So clean, delicious food available, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood! Absolutely could not have been better!! Loved our stay!! Will definitely be coming back in the future!!! Thankfull to have found this place!!❤️

Fabulous house, Poor Lake

The home was great! Clean, tons of little extras you don't see very often. Not sure what was up with the lake but it was very poor. Smelled horrible, full of algae and the shore was soooo rocky you had to wear shoes. If your going here for the lake you may not enjoy it. Overall the house is great and large enough for many people!

Perfect family/friend retreat

Host was excellent to work with making everything easy, service was above and beyond expected with the complimentary food/drink items and speedy response. . Home was great for our kids multiple spaces for them to spread out. The sunroom was a favorite for everyone especially us moms during this fall season and view of the lake. Very clean and well cared for property. Excellent neighborhood, close to the public water access, great area for walks and I can only imagine how awesome the place is during the summer. They have a nice dock and looks like this property is one of the few with beach! We came to Brookings for Hobo day and it was a great time of year to enjoy this beauty lake and was close to town. Only complaint was I wish we would’ve spent more time at the property.

Second time staying here. Beautiful location on the lake and close enough to Brookings. Traveling with kids great appreciated the continental breakfast. Never stayed at any other rental that does this, made it extremely convenient. The host was great at checking in and following up to any questions we had. I’m sure we will be back again!

Very Relaxing Beautiful Vacation Rental

Very nice, well organized, in a good quiet neighborhood. The house had many features that accommodated a large group with mixed ages such as plenty of separate sleeping areas, large sun room, two TV rooms and plenty of outside space for lawn games. Great for having fun and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay! The home is very clean and the continental breakfast items were a nice touch adding convenience to our stay. Gorgeous view of the lake and convenient access through the walkout basement. The outdoor spaces are very enjoyable (but bring bug spray!). The hostess is very friendly and responsive to questions! The house can comfortably sleep many people. The cons are: one small bathroom for all the basement bedrooms, poor AC temp control (too warm upstairs but really cold downstairs) during hot and humid days, and steep, narrow steps to the basement which could pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.

The Solem Family Reunion

We had 8 family members stay in the house. It is very spacious and comfortable. The house has everything you need!. Such a beautiful location. I cant say enough good things about Keri our host! The breakfast she provides and the fresh baked goods are definitely a fabulous touch you dont get other places. There are games and the kitchen has everthing you need. I highly recommend this house and really hope to return in the future! I rate it 30 stars! Thanks Keri!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion planned and needed additional space to house part of the family. Our host was awesome! Our fridge was stocked with essentials for breakfast and we even got a loaf of homemade bread (delicious)! The house was clean, and bedrooms and additional sleeping areas are as described online. The lake view is incredible….we spent lots of family time in the 3-season room enjoying the view. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities… we had a mini bean bag toss tournament, the kids enjoyed playing in the water and taking paddle boat rides and spent the evenings at the fire pit making s’mores. It’s a beautiful location for beautiful sunsets and relaxation.
