Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Extremely disappointing stay

Vrbo and Vacasa were hilariously unhelpful in addressing the many issues of this property. We booked the property for 2 weeks and we decided to leave (no refund) after only 1 week. We tried Vrbo support, but they were just as unhelpful as Vacasa. The place is substantially smaller than it appears in the photos but seemed relatively clean. Our first day, we contacted Vacasa about the on-site coin-operated laundry because the listing states (or stated) "coin laundry" as one of the property's amenities. This was one of the primary reasons we booked this stay. We have been to similar homestays previously with coin laundry on-site. Vacasa told us that the property does not have coin laundry but there is a laundromat nearby. We explained that listing coin laundry as an amenity was misleading when it meant we had to travel to a nearby business. By that logic, almost anything could be listed as an amenity. Several other items in the listing are/were incorrect: there is no view of a beach (only the ocean), no Blu-Ray player, no first aid kit, and no carbon monoxide detector. The fireplace didn’t work, the toaster oven barely works, the kitchen supplies (utensils, drinkware, etc.) were laughable, the fridge often sounded like a chainsaw, the couch and chair were horribly uncomfortable, and the lock on the sliding glass door didn’t work. They also have multiple high-wattage kitchen appliances plugged into a cheap power strip (fire hazard). Stay elsewhere and don't go with Vacasa.

As Advertised

Places is "as advertised" and is quiet. However there are small detail issues: Refrig needed to be defrosted; Microwave works, but it is REALLY small; No pot holder; Would have been helpful if "equipment/tv" operation instructions and other information were assembled together in a binder and set out; Spare batteries needed for the "dead" remote. Would stay here again.

This is a very clean, modern and comfortable room. We enjoyed the privacy, security and most of all the view! Upgrading the appliances would make it perfect, the frig froze all of our groceries and the microwave is to small and takes 4 minutes to heat up a cup of coffee.
