Our stay at Lazy J Cabin had some positives with the location and scenery, but overall the property needs significant maintenance and a deeper level of cleaning.Blinds:All blinds in the cabin are missing the tilt rods, so they can only be fully open or fully closed using the lift cord.Deck & Exterior:There were 10 mud dauber nests around the deck area and several outdoor chairs had dried bird droppings on them.Master Suite:The master bedroom does not have a private bathroom or a traditional closet, only a wardrobe with limited storage.Access to Dock & Hot Tub:To reach the dock you must go down steps and climb over rocks, which felt unsafe, especially at night.Bathroom, Fireplace & Hot Tub:The downstairs shower valves spin continuously with no clear shut-off point. The fireplace would not turn on despite following the instructions. The hot tub light does not work and only about half the jets function.Game Room:There is no WiFi signal. The TV would not work, air hockey pucks get stuck when scoring, a pool table pocket is loose, the ping pong net is torn, and chess/checker boards had no pieces.Cleanliness:We found a spider web in the hallway, tape residue on blinds, a ring pop under a bed, a sealed Slim Jim in the couch, and a root beer can in the fire pit. The kitchen pot rack area was also very dusty.Overall:The cabin feels dated and would benefit from routine maintenance, repairs, and a thorough deep cleaning.
