"The room was clean and the king bed was quite comfortable. The heater was a bit loud but very effective, and the heated air fan in the bath was a nice touch; plenty of hot water, too. The microwave oven was small but worked well, and the mini-fridge was bigger than many we've seen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and cheerfully accomodated our late arrival. "

"We had the most incredible time staying at this house. It's a perfect home for a family, with people of all ages. It's so kid friendly - my two nephews (2 and 6) were able to run around safely with toys provided for their entertainment. I highly recommend this place! "

"Our stay was wonderful! We didn't have the best weather (cold and rainy), but that didn't stop us from having a fabulous time! The house was spacious, cozy, well-kept and perfect for 6 kids and 6 adults. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were very nice too! The home was well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels and all the basic amenities we needed. The kids really enjoyed the garage and the kid room for their double-night sleepover! "Our stay at this Deep Creek property was highly disappointing due to neglect and hygiene issues.Cleanliness & Health:The home was incredibly dusty; ceiling fans and vents were caked in grime. The bathrooms smelled strongly of urine upon arrival, and we found visible mold in the shower tracks. Worst of all, the bunk room sheets were dirty at check-in.Maintenance & Safety:• Electrical: The power is unstable. Using basic items like an iron on the far left side of the downstairs area caused the power to go out repeatedly.• Structural: The home is in disrepair; kitchen counters are physically separating from the backsplas/wall.• Heating: The bunk room had no temperature control, swinging between freezing and sweltering. Despite being a mountain rental, the fireplaces did not work.Amenities:The hot tub was unusable. Snow was never removed to allow access, and the propane tanks were not checked to ensure it was functional.Summary:This home is "old" in a way that suggests neglect. Between the mold, the urine smell, the lack of working fireplaces, and the electrical issues, it did not meet basic hospitality standards. It needs a professional deep clean and a total maintenance overhaul. I would not recommend staying here until significant updates are made."
