「I had wondered about the amenities. the coffee pot was not cleaned , actually had mold in it , and the carpet was lifting at one corner, where i kept tripping on it. I certainly appreciated the rest ! As it was during the turkey holiday and easy to find through downtown Hartford 」

「Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. 」

The bathtub has blue stains, there were no bathroom towel racks (just holes where they used to be), and in general the pictures online seem to be enhanced/docotored to make the apartment seem more upscale than it actually is. We could your typical street sounds but it was easy to tune it out. I would definitely stay here again if we have another large scale event to attend!」
