Ok, where do we begin...! Very disappointed with this “luxury” stay, the kitchen was very dirty, to the point where we had to buy cleaning products to clean before we could even wash the dishes before use. A security deposit via bank transfer was requested prior to check in, which was not stipulated in the booking description, the description advised of a deposit upon check in (which we were more than happy to provide) not prior to. There were security cameras inside the apartment , this was also not advised in the description of the property and was a violation of privacy, these cameras should have been on the outside of the property if they were indeed for security reasons. To top it off the booking dates were mixed up by the owner who had arranged workmen to fix a leek in the roof a day before we checked out, the owner did message to ask if we minded if the workmen came into the apartment, however I advised we would rather that the workmen were not there as all of our belongings were inside. This apparently did not matter, as the owner gained entry and allowed the workmen in anyway. To say the least we were not at all happy with the service received by the property owner or the cleanliness of the apartment.

So we stayed in Bristol for two nights, it was the third stop on a round-trip in England. The first important thing was the place of this accommodation. The neighborhood was rather dirty, and dilapidated. But that was not problematic for us. The point where it's getting interesting is the accommodation inside. At first glance, everything looked alright and nice especially the open and bright kitchen and dining-area. Even tho it was not completely cleaned, we really appreciated that. The bathroom was not cleaned, not just that there were stains on the towels etc but all shower parts were completely dirty and stained. On top of that there were some used shavers and cups as well as an opened listerine bottle on the shelve. Even though the rooms were a bit dirty like the whole appartement, they were nicely equipped and beautiful. BUT there were two high definition CCTV CAMS (!!!!!) on the hallway and in the living room area (the last one is pointed on one bed as well!! ) Wich is not okay, even though the owner declares them as a protection for him. Over all I would not recommend it to anyone, it is much too expensive for things like that and the surveillance is against personal rights.

Self catering accommodation

This is a spacious apartment with character. It has two bedrooms, a sittingroom and open plan kitchen. It is well equipped with flat screen televisions in three rooms, a washing machine, a microwave, oven and wide range of kitchen utensils. It's therefore an excellent place to stay for guests looking for self catering. When we stayed it was not cleaned to a hotel standard; floor mats were quite dirty and the tea towels had been used before. We did not have enough towels either. The location was convenient for us, as we managed to find parking in the local area and take the bus into the town centre.

Quiet flat in Bristol with everything you need

We were on a road trip with three elderly relatives. We chose the location to meet our son who is at uni in Bristol. The flat is modern with a luxurious feel due to a new bathroom and kitchen and airy kitchen extension. We shared two meals and laughed a lot.

Beautiful flat.

This flat is has a very convenient lay out and everything is easy to use. The garden is a sun trap and a joy to sit out in. The bedrooms have excellent beds and bedding and large flat screen TVs. I loved the wooden floors and the original features of the property. There is a little park with playground at the top of the road and a pub just around the corner. Shame we couldn't stay longer!
