This is a fantastic boutique hotel in the quaint walled city of Briones in the heart of La Rioja. The rooms were very comfortable and the restaurant has a fantastic menu and wine list offering many wines from smaller wineries not widely available in the US. My only regret is that I didn’t stay there longer! I’ll be back!
This hotel was special. Uniquely constructed from the previous ruins, impeccably appointed in the charming village of Briones. Food was great, staff exceptional, especially Maria on the front desk (although she seemed to be everywhere!), quick to smile and always helpful. The terrace on the second floor has a marvelous view over the Rioja countryside.
Highly recommended!
Beautiful property in quiet historic village - incredibly friendly and helpful staff and delicious restaurant. We are glad we chose this hotel - truly memorable.
The property has been gorgeously designed, the rooms are extremely comfortable, the restaurant is good and the staff is superb. I'm so glad we found this unique and memorable place.
Wonderful buffet and you can order eggs if you want.
The reception staff is great and they can give you great suggestions in the region.
The restaurant Allegar is wonderful!
Excellent small boutique hotel with exceptional restaurant and brilliant staff and facilities. Spacious, well designed and well appointed rooms. Great lounge and courtyard.
We had a wonderful experience. Cozy , beautiful, great culinary experience everything from the check in to the check out was perfect. The employees, the staff and the owners all treated us exceptionally. Will definitely go back ❤️
An unique property in a stunning location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Restaurants serve amazing food with excellent value. Breakfast was one of a kind with tapas tasting.
I can't say enough good things about this small boutique hotel. The design, decor, and craftsmanship throughout the property are incredible. The rooms are spacious, with large showers, comfortable beds, and high-quality sheets and towels.
The breakfast was excellent, and dinner at the hotel was very good as well. They also organized a fantastic wine tasting experience for us, which was one of the highlights of our stay.
The town itself is very small, with limited dining and no real shopping, but that actually adds to the charm and overall experience. It's also conveniently located near Haro and the main Rioja wine tasting area.
One small detail that stood out was how great the hotel smelled throughout the property. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and well cared for. This was one of our favorite hotels of the trip.
It was a perfect stay in a beautiful, medieval town in a wonderfully restored property. Host was great and gave us private tour of the renovation. Would definitely recommend.
