「Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.」

「Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.」

「Beautiful building. Ian, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended place to stay.」

「Beautiful seaside inn, lovely room with wonderful view. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice amenities. Excellent breakfast!!」

「Friendly manager and staff, comfortable room and bed and a great breakfast to top it off. Thank you」

「Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged.」

「Great for a quick one night stop. Staff all friendly」

「Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.」

「Beautiful location with stunning views. The room was contemporary and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the many choices of beers and wine. Ample parking with easy access. 「I’ve stayed at the Mason’s Arms twice now, and both times it’s been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic. I’ll go out of my way to stay here in future.」

「We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again」

「We had a lovely stay whilst visiting wookey hole. Lovely room, it was an ajoining room so great for families. Comfy big bed and great home cooked breakfast. Would defo stay again」

「Lovely place to stay and very welcoming with great restaurant」
