「最初に案内された部屋は地下でWiFiが繋がらない部屋でした。小バエも何匹か飛んでいて変な匂いがしたので地下のお部屋はオススメしません。 WiFi環境ではないと３泊過ごすのは不可能だと感じ、次の日には他のゲストハウスの空いている部屋に変えていただきました。英語が不自由なわたしに対して、優しく迅速な対応ありがとうございました。 清掃自体は行き届いていたし、タオルやハンドウォッシュ、ケトルなど設備も色々整っていたので、宿としてはとてもいいと思います。地下以外の部屋なら…」

「Paradies with a funny goat」

「こじんまりとしていながら、部屋には湯沸かし器やタオルが備え付けてあり、清潔感があった。 朝食も３種類くらいから選べた。 家族経営なのか雰囲気もとてもよく、値段を考えると大正解の宿。」

「部屋は凄くよい。水もあるしコーヒーメーカーもあるし。 残念なのはこの宿の辺りには何もない住宅地なので、イギリス的なバーとかパブも近くにはないから、10分ほど歩いてちょっとした店が集まる区画までいく必要がある。」

「What a truly lovely B&B with the owners James and Katherine being exceptionally helpful and very welcoming. The room was very quaint and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.」

「Very nice stay over. Comfortable and clean rooms and nice bar restaurant area. Very good breakfast but evening meals were prepped then reheated. I think the menu is too large for the size of the establishment. This is constructive criticism. 」

「宿泊代は安いが、1泊旅行には十分の設備。共同バスルームの使用も、私は、他の人と使用が重なることは無かった。壁が薄いので耳栓と、ボディーシャンプー兼用ソープしか無かったので、シャンプー・コンディショナーを必要な人は持っていくとよろしいかと。メインストリートや鉄道駅にも徒歩圏内。」

「For: Genuine and friendly welcome. Room small but had everything needed - including a small fridge which is unusual and very welcome. Was clean and well stocked and serviced daily. A few minutes walk to the beach at the end of the road. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked to order. They also do evening meals on request though we didn’t try these. Against: We were in room 1 on the ground floor - facing the road. The number of noisy boy racers and unsilenced motorbikes were a pain...

「宿泊した日はあいにくの雨だったこともありますが、二階一番奥の室内は年期が入っていました。勿論イギリスやフランス等、ヨーロッパの建物の歴史はとても古いですが、こちらは最低限度のリフォームといった感じで室内は不気味さが有り、娘はこの部屋に泊まる事をとても嫌がった。ソファーのスプリングは限界を越えています。アンティーク調というより、手を入れてない古臭さがありました。またグラストンベリーには行きたいと思いますが、あのホテルには絶対に泊まりません。」

「Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

「The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. 」
