"The location and set up of the stay was spot on, with nothing left wanting. Be aware the property is steep down to the river, so if you have restricted movement or similar that may be an issue, but the river and surrounds can easily be soaked in from up at the premises. Fire was providing plenty of heat for the time of year, bed was wonderful. Also nice and close to town to nip into the bakery then down to the river"

10/10 Excellent
"We always come back to Leda lodge and it never disappoints. The views, the fenced property and fully equipped house are always a delight. Looking forward to our next visit."
"Fantastic house for a weekend away with the dogs! It was so thoughtfully prepared - dog beds, comfy mats, water bowls, good fences. Everything a dog Mum needs!"
"Absolutely stunning accommodation, both inside and out. The property was easy to access, peaceful and secluded, with beautiful views across the rolling hills and surrounding landscape.
Inside was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully set up, with a lovely kitchenette that had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was also only a short drive into town, making it easy to explore the local area while still enjoying the quiet setting. A beautiful place to stay."
Roebank on the Blackwood River Cottage, Farm stay and Homestead
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this property and we shall return in the future if we are back in the area. Unfortunately we chose rainy days for this stay and as such were unable to try and fish the river. Maybe next time?"
