Secluded & Luxury 'Waterfall Cabin' Bordered By 8,000 Acre Forest, WiFi

Our luxury and secluded waterfall cabin is nestled just 25 feet from a beautiful waterfall with a private stream coming within 10 feet of the master bedroom. Our secluded cabin is located in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains just 12 miles from Brevard and 1/2 mile off a paved road. A true mountain cabin retreat surrounded by pristine forest and bordered on two sides by an 8000-acre private preserve. Just a stone's throw away is a roomy front porch where solitude and relaxation begin while settling down in a rocker or listening to the calming waterfall or the rain hitting the tin roof.

The luxury Cabin's interior has a beamed ceiling, stone fireplace, wide plank pine floors with carefully selected antiques and furnishings that capture the character of the region and provide the utmost in comfort. The Blue Ridge Mountain elevation approaching 3000 feet allows for cool mountain breezes and a rare need for air conditioning.

*Additional information: only one starter roll of toilet paper and one starter roll of paper towels are provided for your use.

Nature is everywhere. Nearly 45% of Transylvania County is covered by National and State Forests. Six Forests, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Nantahala National Forest, Caesars Head State Park, and Gorges State Park, are located within a 27-mile radius of our Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin. With over 250 waterfalls to visit, Transylvania County is known as the 'Land of the Waterfalls'. Craig Miller's 'Land of Waterfall Tours' a must-do while visiting the area.
*Special note - Our area of western NC did not sustain significant damage from Hurricane Helene. All roads are navigable All parks and hiking trails are open. The town of Brevard is up and running with all restaurants, shops and entertainment venues in full swing.

One of our favorite places

Another great stay at the cabin! We’ve been vacationing here for years and each time we stuff we find it hard to leave. A great way to get away from it all and hang out in the woods with your family.

Bliss by the stream!

The cabin was just the perfect setting. The sound of the waterfall and stream are comforting. The amenities were the perfect combination of rustic and modern. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home away…sitting on the porch in this idyllic setting while listening to the gurgling of the brook was just so peaceful. And, the evenings inside with a fire was wonderful.

This was our 4th stay in this cabin. As always the cabin was perfect. Decorated beautifully, very clean and it had everything that we needed. Private waterfall outside. It feels like a secret fairy cottage.

Magical. A great getaway from the "real" world.

Can't say enough good things about this property. Four ladies relaxed, sat by the fire, ate and drank, met the owner (fabulous), saw beautiful waterfalls and beautiful scenery. I would recommend this property to anyone who would want a quiet mountain experience. We cooked at the cabin...grill and over the fire.

Absolute Serenity

The cabin gave us a sense of peace and tranquility with the gentle sound of the waterfall and stream and luxury cabin. There was everything we needed! The cabin was so clean and wonderfully decorated. Close enough to so many trails and scenic overlooks. Definitely a slice of heaven!

The mountains are calling and I must go.

This house is perfect if you want to get away from all the noise in this crazy world and just be at peace with nature. Cozy and comfortable, the house is nicely furnished, but best of all there is a stream and waterfall in the front. Nestled in a mountain cove, it was a perfect respite from the cares and stress of daily living. And there are many wonderful attractions nearby. Can't wait to get back.

A Piece of Heaven

The cabin, the waterfalls, the beauty and peace that staying at this property brought me was beyond my expectations. The kindness and flexibility shown by the owner was unmatched. We had an issue with smoke from the fireplace but, just being there sitting on the porch swing and by the firepit was what just what I needed. Kathy is an amazing host and her decorating skills made the cabin warm and inviting. I hope to visit again soon. I highly recommend this piece of heaven!

Waterfall bliss

This was our second start at this property and we will go back. The house is perfect for our family of 4, the waterfall and surrounding yard are so fun to play in and explore. Access is very easy, about 20 min to Brevard and 30 min to numerous hiking trails at any of the National Parks. Our host Karen checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed when the forecast was concerning for some high winds. We had zero issues. Only thing i would request is a few updated utensils in the kitchen, nothing major, but a good knife for dicing would be nice. Such a beautiful spot and cozy cabin!

Picture Perfect Cabin

We had the most lovely stay at this cabin that was even more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Tucked away and secluded in the most beautiful wooded area with a private waterfall, this cabin is also located in a way that makes it relatively easy to access tons of desirable destinations (downtown Brevard, Asheville, National/State parks & forests, waterfalls galore). The vaulted ceilings in the cabin make the home feel open and spacious and the kitchen is stocked with tons of beautiful hand made dishes and all cooking essentials. The cabin has an abundance of pamphlets for all the local sights so it is very easy to plan day trips by reviewing the resources located right inside the cabin! We loved having the fire place burning each night during our picture-perfect autumn trip to North Carolina, for which plenty of firewood was provided. Thank you Kathy for the great recommendations of local sights and for your amazing hospitality!

A Piece of Heaven

We came to the Waterfall Cabin to relax, get “away from it all”, hike, enjoy Brevard and celebrate our birthdays (11 days apart). Even with the rain, the cabin, its location and all the special touches were perfect. We enjoyed evenings by a campfire beside a waterfall and rushing stream, wonderful meals prepared in a kitchen beautifully decorated and outfitted with all necessary appliances and tools, upscale towels, warm comfortable beds, and an unbeatable welcome by two of the sweetest pooches we’ve ever met. One took a real liking to my husband. We want to come back when the weather is a little warmer and bring two of our grandchildren. They would love the creek, waterfalls, campfires and pooches! Thank you so much for a beautiful place to spend four days and three nights. We definitely will return.
