"Breakfast was good, though staff weren't clearing tables so a big queue soon built up. Problems with the coffee machine slso meant we had to go without. Room was clean and spacious. A lot of areas in the spa were out of order so it was basically a pool & sauna. Service in restaurant was poor and extremely slow. Food was generally good but not as described on the menu eg banoffee icecream was actually vanilla, and cherry cheesecake was actually strawberries & raspberries, neither of which was mentioned on ordering. But the worst was that one of our party had a large piece of greaseproof paper in their chicken pie. This meal was deducted from the bill but wasnt removed from the table and no substitute offered. "

"The rooms and hotel were very clean . All the staff were polite and friendly. Didn't have breakfast or use bar. Large carpark and close to everything. Would definitely recommend. "
