Tranquil Place to Rest your Head

I stayed here to have access to the Franciacorta winery area of Italy. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. And everything I wanted to see was close by.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Our meal in the restaurant was exquisite, as was the service. Great choice for breakfast. A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a tranquil setting. Very close to bus number 9 to travel into Brescia centre.

Fantastic some minor issues

The stay was fantastic, the swimming pool amazing as well as the restaurant. Only negative we were told on the first day that we couldn’t eat at the restaurant. They should count people in by default. It also rained on the first morning and it the spa was not available.

Spa opening dates should be clear

I was disappointed that when I booked this stay (through hotels.com, not through the hotel directly) that there was no communication that the spa and all spa associated services weren’t open that week. It was a shame because it was literally the only reason why I booked this place.

We felt mislead by the pictures on Expedia. It looked amazing and it said it was a 4 star resort. It was neither. We literally looked for other hotels to move to in the middle of the night because they had a pool party that was so noisy. The room was absolutely horrendous. The suite had two levels. The living floor’s ac did not work and they could not fix it. The lower level felt like a dungeon. The only positive is that the front desk people (we dealt with two) were nice and tried their best. It felt like they were alone in there. We did not see any other staff at all. Overall, We had a horrible experience there and we absolutely feel mislead and robbed of our money.

Wunderschöne Lage, renovierungsbedürftig

Das Hotel Santellone befindet sich in einer wunderbaren Lage, sehr ruhig, am Rand der Stadt Brescia, in der Nähe eines Waldes. Es war einmal ein Kloster, deshalb die Lage und das majestätische Gebäude, mit Baümen und Pflanzen um herum. Wir hatten aber das Gefühl von einem Hotel, das in den letzten Zeiten nicht mehr gut gepflegt wurde. Sauberkeit: kein Problem, total sauber. Die Möbel sahen aber alt aus, zum Teil beschädigt. Der Wellness war leider zu für Renovation. Kompliziert das Reinkommen zu Fuss: das automatische Tor öffnete sich nur mit dem Auto, zu Fuss musste man die Reception anrufen, um eintreten zu können. Frühstück: sehr gut und vielfältig. Frühstückssaal zu klein am Wochenende. Keine Läden in der Nähe. Wir haben mitbekommen, dass die neue Führung erst seit 3 Wochen das Hotel führte und hat noch viel Arbeit vor sich, um das Hotel an einem richtigen Niveau zu bringen, damit die offiziellen 4 Sterne wirklich stimmen.

Struttura decadente e poco pronta al turismo.

Struttura oggettivamente bella, ma tenuta malissimo. Personale gentile ma non incisivo a dare risposta ai nostri reclami assolutamente leciti. Dopo aver prenotato inviano una mail dalla struttura dove dicono che la spa e' chiusa per ristrutturazione e la piscina e' a pagamento (cosa assurda e mai vista in altre strutture) . Organizzazione pessima e personale piscina totalmente inopportuno (hanno chiesto 3 volte se avevamo pagato). Non consiglio... Giro molto e non ho mai visto mancanze simili ai strutture che si fanno anche pagare profumatamente.

Super hyggeligt hotel. og vi havde et dejligt ophold. Vi havde bla. valgt hotellet fordi der var restaurant, det var der også og den var rigtig hyggelig. Vi spiste der den første aften og fik dejlig mad, desværre var den lukket dagen efter, det var lidt ærligt da vi tildeles havde valgt ud fra der var restaurant.

Piscina a pagamento se prenotata tramite Expedia (per averla inclusa si doveva prenotare tramite loro (mai capitato prima) . Spa chiusa (avrebbero potuto inserire la chiusura stagionale). Ascensore difettoso. Ottima la pulizia della stanza. Dopo aver pernottato in moltissime strutture come questa, abbiamo una discreta esperienza al riguardo..Non la conisiglierei.

På hotels.com læste vi dette som et resort med wellness. Da vi havde booket fik vi mail om at wellness var lukket indtil september, restauranten var lukket i 2 af vores 4 overnatninger ( hver søndag og tirsdag) samt at adgang til poolen kostede extra. Første nat tilbragte vi på et loftværelse,hvor aircondition ikke virkede, og der var flere bikuber på altanen, så at åbne døren var ikke en mulighed. Vi fik dog et andet værelse, næste dag, dog uden balkon. Morgenmaden var meget beskeden, og bestod mest af indpakket kiks og deslige. Udvalget i restauranten var begrænset og meget dyr.Hotellet ligger i et industriområde, så man skal køre for at finde andre restauranter og byliv. Hotellet er hyggeligt indrettet, det er flotte bygninger og dejlig have.

Wunderschöne Anlage und super Service. Leider ist auf Hotels.com und Expedia nur gaaaaaaaanz weit unten und gaaanz klein eine zusätzliche Gebühr für den Pool erwähnt. Es fallen pro Tag und Person 20€!! Für den Pool an. Schlechte Kommunikation von Hotles.com !! Dies muss deutlich besser ersichtlich sein.

Wonderful location with Italian charme in tranquil countryside setting. Spacious suites present an excellent value, friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was during COVID-19 and the Spa closed. We plan to come back to enjoy Wellness program.
