"Nice stay. Big apartments. Fine facilities. Bed was a bit used and hard, so we used the sofas instead. The area is an area were most of the turist hotels are concentrated. We stayed 4 nights. "

"Das Ferienhaus liegt in der Mitte von zwei Reihen dicht bebauter kleiner Reihenhäuser und ist sehr hellhörig.
Die Esszimmerstühle sind teilweise sehr schmutzig und alle sind stark durchgesessen, sodass der Rücken schmerzt. Wir haben uns mit den Plastikstühlen von der kleine "Terrasse" und den Sofakissen beholfen.
Die Couch ist sehr unbequem.
Im zweiten Schlafzimmer fehlt eine Ablagemöglichkeit und in beiden Schlafzimmern ein Kleiderständer bzw. Kleiderhaken.

"This house is conveniently placed in Tazacorte. But one needs to be fit to stay there! It is on 4 ‘floors’. The kitchen is almost in a basement with high windows. Excellently supplied but dark. Up is the sitting room and bedroom en-suite. Next the table terrace and best bedroom. But beware the bathroom is not connected and it does rain, even in Tazacorte! "Nach dem Vulkanausbruch 2021 waren wir nun zum elften Mal in La Palma. Die Anlage und das Dorf, wo wir die letzten Jahre wohnten, wurde durch den Ausbruch verschüttet. Es ist sehr traurig und doch auch wieder schön zu sehen, wie wieder gebaut wird und es nach Aufbruch aussieht. Es wäre hilfreich, im Vorhinein darüber informiert zu werden, dass "El Gallo" vom Lavastrom links und rechts umgeben ist. "Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Modern, clean comfortable room with fantastic views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good generally but grilled meats were chewy. Ample parking at the hotel but for a fee (10 euros/day). However, parking can be found along the road approaching the hotel. Area surrounding the hotel was quiet with few dining options."

"The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins)."

"The location of the hotel was very good for access to local restaurants, the bus stop and a couple of shops including a small Spar and a Hyperdino (which is just a very small convenience store). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was fine, but the mattresses on the twin beds were worn through (we could feel the metal of the springs), and the kitchen equipment was rather sparse compared with other similar hotel room kitchenettes (for example no spatula or suitable utensil for cooking in the frying pan, no grater or sieve or vegetable knife)."
