The house was very nice, newer, and in great shape. It's one of the better VRBOs we have rented. Everyone loved the house. We took the shuttle to ski, which worked well. I found it a little confusing before we got there (looking at the shuttle website), thinking we would need to transfer buses. However, the Upper Warrior shuttle has a stop on Columbine Road that is a 0.2 mile walk to the QuickSilver chair. Also, there is a path at the end of Gold King Way that you can ski. It comes out on Lower Lehman. We took the shuttle until the last day because we were unsure about the trail. It was VERY straightforward, and I would recommend it for an intermediate or advanced skier. I saw tracks coming back into the neighborhood from above, but we didn't attempt to find that trail.Again, overall, this was a wonderful house. It will be our first choice next time we come to Breck.
We enjoyed our stay as the house is very cozy. A short walk to a ski trail which forms as a great "ski-in/ski-out" to avoid the bus or driving to the slope. Hot tub was great and only hiccup was the main fireplace did not ever work. We would definitively stay in this house again.
This house is well appointed with pretty much anything you need for your stay. Wildlife and wilderness at your backdoor. The hot tub wasn't working which was a huge disappointment and management tried to fix it but it was too old and we never ended up using it. Great communication with staff and they made adjustments to my bill which was really nice.
Just FYI this house does not have local tv or cable, WIFI is spotty unless you are sitting directly in front of modem. We didn't go to the mountains to watch tv so we were ok with that. I would definitely rent this home again in the future.
Beautiful property! (But unresponsive property manager)
Our Christmas present to our family was a Breckenridge ski trip. There were eight of us ranging from 12 to old enough to be great-grandparents (though she couldn’t join us.) This home resonated with my wife and I when we saw the listing. Out of downtown but not too far, close to the shuttle route, hot tub which we enjoyed and a fire pit which we couldn’t use without a lot of work to clear the deck of snow and ice, so laziness prevailed. The appliances and lighting were top of the line, furniture and décor appeared almost new, and gas fireplaces in several rooms. There was also a local fox that strolled through the back yard every day. There are sleds in the garage to use at Carter Park for some free fun for the kids, and the grandparents, too. It’s in a neighborhood with other homes but we didn’t feel like we were surrounded by homes. This place is a dream home! Our rating of the property is five stars.
Our only real problem was the management company – Vacasa. (Renters reading this, the rest is boring detail and for the owner, whom I hope reads this, but read on if you wish.) I have a hard time doing this because I have always believed one should praise in public and criticize in private, but this is the only way I can reach all the way to the owner according to Vrbo help chat. Vacasa was uncommunicative, unorganized, and generally worthless. When we arrived, the garage door opener would not work, nor would the large living room gas fireplace – which was one of the amenities that drew us. Several of us gave them a try using the instructions in our rental documents, to no avail. The cleaning crew (who had done a good job) came by as we were moving in Monday afternoon, shoveled a path to the front door and asked if we needed anything. We requested some more towels because we had reserved Monday-Friday. I notified Vacasa about the garage door pad and fireplace and never heard back from them with towels or repair service. On Wednesday after breakfast, we used the kitchen disposal and slightly nasty water from under the sink poured onto the floor. We put down paper towels to soak up much of it and I called and told Vacasa we had a sink leak and they said they would send someone out to take care of it. Late afternoon, we returned and no one had shown to fix anything...[much more to this story but Vrbo says I'm out of room. Hoping for an owner's response. No money or credit, just a response.]
Property was perfect for a family of six. Comfortable and clean. Close to ski resort. Kids enjoyed hot tub after skiing.

Mountain dream home
We loved staying in this mountain dream home and would definitely want to stay again in the future. It’s super close to the Breck Ski lifts/ gondola and to the downtown area. The only recommendation I would have is, more towels and extra cleaning supplies for bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry.
Check-in was supposed to be at 4pm but the cleaning crew was not finished and we had to wait until 5pm to check in. This wasn’t too huge of a deal for us but I can see how it can be frustrating for people staying in the future.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the amount of space the home offered and would love to come back!

Family Winter Get Away
From Booking to Arriving at the Mountain Dream Home for our
Winter Family Vacation was Perfect. The House was everything Description & Pictures showed. Our stay was relaxing & fun for all. Would recommend Using Vacasa Vacation Rentals for your next trip.
From a Very satisfied customer!!
We've rented a couple of places that really standout in our travels and this home was one of those. The house lives huge, but exudes warmth and welcome. This house changed my mind about how large a kitchen needs to be. The kitchen is sufficient
for several cooks, but doesn't take up too much room and leaves so much room for visiting in the lovely living room.
My daughter slept in the downstairs room with two beds for herself and her children. Her daughter declared about 15 minutes after we got there that she didn't want to leave the house. EVER! We were able to drag her our for a couple of hikes that she thoroughly enjoyed. We also lined up for a crepe downtown. The toys there were a welcome that the kids really enjoyed playing with. The room they stayed has a meadow view that was insanely beautiful in July. The wildflowers were gorgeous. The upstairs bedroom is beautiful too.
We were all sad to leave this wonderful home that is so thoughtfully designed and kept. Can't wait until next time!!

Fantastic home. Average housekeeping
This beautiful property was perfect for our family of four with two young kids. Our kids loved the toys and children's book the owners had provided! The location was close enough to town but very quiet and away from the crowds. The main floor had not been vacuumed and there was no detergent for the dishwasher. We called Vacasa and they said they would bring some, but no one ever did so we had to hand wash what we needed. We would definitely stay here again

Great place to stay while in Breckinridge. Beautiful home that was a perfect size for our family and our friends family. We enjoyed cooking in their kitchen which was well stocked with all kitchen needs. We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub and grilling out in the evening. Would highly recommend and will definitely rent again.
Absolutely gorgeous home, but the communication with property management company has a lot to be desired. I called and emailed (twice) about TV issues upon check in and the day after, but no response yet. Despite that “hiccup”, the home is beautiful and would definitely look to rent it again.
We had an excellent girls weekend in the mountains at this beautiful property!! I wish we could stay longer. Perfect location to the town of Breckenridge but far enough away from the crowds. Plenty of supplies at the house and kitchen supplies. Would love to come back!
Had a great time in Breckenridge. This house was perfect for our family of five plus grandparents. House is clean, updated and close enough (5 minute drive) to downtown Breckenridge.
This place was an absolute delight for my birthday weekend. The home was gorgeous, large, and very clean.

Breckenridge family trip
This home was great...truly a luxury residence in every way. The Upper Warriors Mark shuttle was very convenient, dropping off near the base of Peak 9. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the shuttle, either coming or going from the mountain. I would give this residence 5 stars; however the master bedroom bed was substandard. The bed frame is broken and the springs in the mattress seem broken, such that there was no support and the bed felt more like sleeping in a hammock than a bed. I ended up sleeping on the floor to spare my back. One suggestion for the owners - develop a home handbook with instructions on how to use the fireplaces, thermostats, TV, adjust hot tub temp, access the free shuttle, etc. We figured these things out eventually, but would have been easier with some simple instructions. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again if the owner addresses the master bedroom issue.
