PROS: The communication with the property manager was great. The condo was easy to find and had a convenient back porch that we used the whole time to head to the mountain or car. All appliances were working and kitchen was fully stocked. We didn't do much cooking - but it met our needs. It was also nice that we did not need to get toilet paper or dish detergent for the stay. Often with VRBOs, we end up getting to much of that stuff for a short stay. The biggest PRO was the walk to the mountain. We used Charter ski rental at base of the Marriot Residence (and on the way to the lift from our walk) for our ski rentals and they allowed us to store our gear daily. So we had a nice 7-8 minute walk to our gear and and then another 2 minute walk carrying our stuff to the Quicksilver lift. This made it so much easier without having to lug our gear and our kids gear. The personal hot tub was also great. It's a short walk to the community hot tub, we felt it was nearly as hot as the patio hot tub at our own condo.
CONS: You do have to check-in with a separate location and use a key for the condo. After a long day of travel, it would have been nice to just head straight to the listing. I know this sound picky, but a key code is so much easier when you already have so much stuff to keep track of when skiing. Another HUGE CON, the condo smelled like stale smoke when we walked in. It was apparent that a previous tenant was smoking near or inside the condo - as there were cigarette butts all around the patio area. The inside stale smoke smell never went away. The lobby and "game room" photos are in a separate building from Corral S. There are multiple buildings that share one game room. Maybe that's clear and I misunderstood, but I thought that was in our building where our kids could hang.
Overall, the location to Peak 9 & Quicksilver made it worth it.
