Right beside Old Town Square. Short walks to many historic places, viewpoints, restaurants, etc. Very quiet. 7A had a small kitchen area as well as a patio outside the room. Loved this place.

First of all, it is important to mention this property it is not a hotel per-se. It is a self check-in/ check-out property. Very easy to navigate. After the initial surprise at the opening of the first entry point, once we passed through main door the whole place more than exceeded our expectations. A lovely property, but this is not a hotel. There is no staff on site. We were required to communicate via What’sApp about the room and not in the Expedia app as I prefer. The breakfast is provided via local cafes—but it is all refined carbohydrates and not until after 8:30am. The option they specifically recommend is not open until 10am. There’s no whole grains, fruit or fresh diary available without an additional fee. I would not stay here a second time as there are other excellent options within a block or so for a lower or similar price.

Peaceful stay at the elegantly decorated Casa. Room featured a small refrigerator, tea pot and coffee machine. Parking was accessible. Close walking to sights in Brasov. The breakfast options were at near by cafes. Highly recommend this charming hotel!

Great apartment, clean, in fantastic central location. The apartment decoration was very atmospheric and with attention to detail. Very spacious and with a nice balcony (apt 3). Next door light breakfast (a drink+snack) available, tried the croissanterie and was delicious. Went there with family and all enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and well maintained and appointed. Comfortable room. As a Canadian, I was not prepared for the parking situation (that’s on me). Be bold. Put the hazards on and you’ll be fine. Excellent location. Check out Juno on the path behind. Great vibe.

The room was very nice, the instructions to get in was clear, and it was easy to check in and out. I was pleasantly surprised by the inside of the apt very open, and the bedroom was perfect. It also had a nice, large, and private balcony. It was also perfectly located to the cities center, a lot of food and bar options, was a great stay thank you!

Spent one night in this very central B&B and were lucky to receive a nice upgrade to a large comfortable room with balcony. We really enjoyed our stay and maybe the only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast vouchers. It would be nice to receive a more substantial breakfast.

It was an absolutely amazing location, surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and churches, and anything else you may wish for. The place was absolutely charming located across from the big cathedral, while the balcony was facing the forest basically. If you are not from there, you will not know that behind that wall runs a beautiful creek and there is one of the most charming wineries where you can sit in a wine barrel and enjoy your glass of wine with a beautiful cheese tray. It is exactly behind the building you are in. Most people don’t know that. Also, from there starts the most amazing hike that leads you to a couple of beautiful fortresses/towers from where you can see the entire city, absolutely stunning. The place itself had plenty of kitchen things, such as a coffee maker, toaster or water boiler. Which is all I needed. Downstairs you have at least three or four bakeries where you can enjoy a coffee with a croissant in the morning. I stayed in unit 8B and I will certainly come back. Beautiful balcony with a nice view of the forest. While in the front you have literally the main square with lots of restaurants. The place itself was so beautifully decorated, absolutely charming. There actually is a harp in the bedroom if you can’t imagine… very tastefully decorated… beautiful original hardwood floors too!!! If you are looking for a charming, romantic idyllic place, this is the one!!!

The standard double room was excellent, very spacious, just needed a few more hangers for the rail. Great size bed and very comfortable. This was a room in a large property more like an apartment than a hotel, which was fine for us. It had a small kitchen area, more for making snacks than a meal. Bathroom was a bit compact, but the shower was spacious, built into the shape of the building. It isn't super clear on the booking instructions, but you do need to contact the property before arrival and provide ID evidence to get passcodes for doors and keys - i did use WhatsApp, which was fine, but had to dig the number out of the 'contact hotel' area of the app and hope for the best. Breakfast vouchers were provided with 4 coffee shops identified all within 30m of the front door. It is worth knowing that each voucher is worth 20LEI/RON and you can add to this with cash at all venues. The apartment was perfectly located for all local amenities and sight-seeing within the old city walls and 2mins from the main square. With local guidebooks or websites you will find everything you need and lots of smaller bars and cafes around every corner, so enjoy the search.

Place to be recommended!

2 nights stay in Brasov at Casa Baritiu. mandatory to send a query for a parking (60 Lei / day) since the appartement is located in the old town of Brasov. The 8A is good for 2 parents and a daughter. It is nice and well decorated. No real possibility to cook inside but the offer for food is wide outside so no real need. The only thing to improve is the way the partnered restaurants for breakfast accept (or not) the vouchers; the amount should be increased to 30 Lei (instead of 20) to allow the hosts to get a real breakfast.

I recently stayed at Casa Barițiu for a week. The Superior Apartment includes a kitchen with utensils, a living room, bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom with a stand up shower. The decor is charming, and the property is beautiful. It is situated directly across the street from the Old City Center, and is accessed through a coded gate leading to an alleyway. The self check-in and check-out instructions were provided clearly through WhatsApp, and the owner was very responsive to messages. I didn’t realize I was one night short when booking the property, until they reached out to inform me when I hadn’t checked out yet. They resolved the situation in a kind and efficient manner. The staff who take care of the property during the day were also very friendly and accommodating in an unobtrusive way. The property feels safe, quiet and private. There are many options for dining, shopping and experiencing Braşov. It is within walking distance to places like The Black Church, museums, and local shops. The time I spent there was delightful, and it allowed for a wonderfully immersive experience in Braşov. Thank you Casa Barițiu!
