"This is a great house and was well laid out for our family stay with 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. It was in a wonderful location for us as it is walking distance to Jimbo's where we all attended a wedding and close enough for our stay afterward to visit Lake Saranac, Lake George and Lake Placid."

"Had a great Memorial Day weekend. House was great. Nice hot tub and fire pit. Wood provided. Beds are really comfortable. Kitchen is small galley type but worked out well. Very close to private beach and canoe. We had a great time and would definitely book again."

"The house was lovely for accommodating some family and close friends for a long ski weekend. The double fireplaces on the main floor and the hot tub were incredible & cozy for a weekend where it hit -20 a couple times. The large kitchen fit us all for group cooking adventures perfectly as well. We would certainly love to return here!"

"Nice,new and clean space. Absolutely wonderful. Not disappointed. On the second day it snowed 8 inches into the night. Woke up the next morning and driveway was plowed. It allowed us to be on the slopes before the lift opened! Much appreciated, would stay again. "

"site says "No Parking" which is obviously wrong. Straighten it out as it is confusing. Because i couldn't get any meaningful answer from the stupid chat box I almost didnt take the place.10am check out is B.S. And then VRBO offers a later checkout --for a fee. 11am is usual and this is just another way to ding customer.Place relatively clean but kitchen dishtowels and potholders grungry, stained.Any kitchen should have at least one non stick fry pan-this one doesn't. All the other p&ps were quality though.Not having dishwasher is pita, but we knew that going in. Not the biggest deal.On positive side: wife and daughterinlaw say its Cute. Proximity to Gore is a plus. Its quiet, despite being close to highway as rushing river drowns out noise. Interior is quiet too, ie room to room. The living area has great comfortable lounge chairs that can be turned to face each other for games or all one direction for movies. The river view is very nice. I can imagine its a great place in summer too. Fishing should be good if I can read water."

"Beautiful house in the Adirondacks on tranquil Valentine Pond. The perfect setting to get away from it all. We enjoyed meals on their large deck, drinks on the dock, and paddling on the calm waters of the pond. Hosts were especially accommodating and responsive. Could not recommend any more! Can’t wait to go back!"
