Our family had a great time at Pease Hill house on Brant. The dock was a short walk (approx .3 miles from house) We all piled in the truck and parked it right in front of the slip anyway. Little cove area is a bit tight - but protected the pontoon boat from the wind. We enjoyed the evening walks around the bend on Paradise Rd- past the Chippewa resort and the beautiful homes along the shore. Sunset cruises on Brant are fabulous. People on the lake seemed friendly and respectful as well. Good lake to anchor about 100’ from shore in the bays and swim off the boat. Nice little town - convenient to Bolton; Schroon and Chestertown- less than 1/2 hr drive. Has a great time m. Thanks!!
Very relaxing house to stay in - easy access from driveway to first floor; nice stone firepit in backyard; Blackstone griddle ; Short walk to the boat dock ( 6 mins) ; NY State launch close) Close to town ; 87; big Stewart’s ; Laje Geo; Schroon
Had a great vacation on Brant Lake! The kids loved kayaking and swimming in the lake. Nights at the fire pit and visiting the food truck on the pond is a definite must do. Only disappointing thing was not being lakefront.
This was a great Adirondack lake house. It was immaculately clean.
The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need.
There were many seating areas to enjoy our family.
There were fun games to play.
We enjoyed taking the kayaks out to enjoy the lake.
The owners were always quick to respond to our questions and wonderful hosts!
Can't wait to go back and would absolutely stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. It was well equipped and spacious enough for us all to spread out and have are own space when the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed all the games provided especially the tiki toss. We hiked many of the nearby trails and swam and kayaked in the lake. We even had the pleasure of watching a group of deer munch on the red berries from the pantry window. Thanks again for letting us stay in your home.

Very Nice Experience!!
We had a Great time!! The house was very comfortable & nicely decorated !! We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit at night , enjoying the warm fire , as the nights were cool! The S’mores were great , but not included. We enjoyed a boat ride on Lake George & also went to Octoberfest. It was a fun weekend! When you book here bring your own towels and bath soap. Also bring your own split firewood. Definitely recommend this house as a Very Nice place to stay !! Owners were very easy to reach for questions. Thank you , Todd!
The house was great for the six of us and a dog. The property policies regarding pets (keeping them off all furniture and bedding) seem a little unreasonable. We brought lots of blankets to cover the furniture and our own bedding. The stone fireplace and wood stove were perfect for this time of year. Proximity to Gore and Garnet Hill and even Whiteface is a plus. The kitchen could have been better equipped - plenty of plates and good cookware (except baking), but utensils were scarce and we thankfully brought our own dutch oven and good chef knives.
Wonderful home to enjoy Brant Lake and the Adirondacks
My husband, tween son, and I stayed here for five days along with our two black lab mixes. The house was wonderful — very clean with sweet rustic/lake house decor, and literally everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed!) was provided. This included a small ping pong/multi-game table, tons of board games, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, kayaks and life vests, a great kitchen with all the pots/pans/etc to cook at home, and more. The layout was great - bedrooms and bath upstairs, with kitchen, dining room, another bath, laundry, and several different sitting areas on the main floor, giving us room to spread out. The house could easily have accommodated more people if we had a larger group.
The location was perfect for us — steps from the lake without being in a busy area, just around the corner from the town boat launch, and close enough to a little downtown area that we were easily able to grab groceries, pickup takeout one night, etc. We enjoyed hiking (15 mins to the Pharaoh Lake Trail trailhead), biking the 13-mile perimeter of the lake, fishing the lake and the nearby Schroon and Hudson Rivers, kayaking, and enjoying all that the Adirondacks has to offer.
We planned this trip on short(ish) notice to replace a week in Maine that was canceled because of COVID. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful, dog-friendly home to spend a relaxing week making memories and adventuring with my family. Todd was an excellent host, and I would absolutely come back and stay here again! My son is already talking about coming back in the winter.
Beautiful property - slightly up from Brant Lake- very quiet
We enjoyed our week at Pease Hill with our cousins. Evenings outside at the firepit were special- singalongs and marshmallow roasting.
The inside is very well decorated and furnished _
Very nice ADK rustic furniture and tables and lamps. We were able to keep our pontoon boat down the street (about .3 miles / 5 min walk)
at the dock. Was nice for boat - very little wind at that spot. Would like to do again next year. Thanks
The house was roomy. With plenty of space to spread out. The house was equipped with everything we could need. The kayaks were easily accessible by the lake and so relaxing. Todd and Leigh responded quickly to questions we had. A great getaway in close proximity to many hiking trails, lakes and The Hub!

We had a nice vacation in this rustic location. The home was cozy and we enjoyed all the games. Todd responded to our calls in a timely fashion. Lake Brant is beautiful and we enjoyed being near Lake George but not in the thick of the crowd.
we enjoyed the stay ,the house was very cozy and had great location just few steps from Brant Lake and 30min from Brant Lake. Host was very responsive. Thank you🙂
Great location for winter activities in the region. The owners are responsive and attentive. The house had a lovely fireplace and good gathering space for dining, playing games etc. The Tiki Toss game was a hit with our teens.
The property was just as I had seen it, it was clean, spacious and very comfortable, Todd everything was just as you said it was, thank you for you quick response.
We enjoyed 2 nights by the fire pit in the backyard sitting around with good friends and good wine.
Overall a great place to stay.
We will be back .
Thank you for having us,
This was our second time staying at the property. We had a great time, as we did the first time we stayed. The property is clean and spacious and has nice amenities. Just what we needed to enjoy a long Labor Day weekend up in the Adirondacks!
Great property! The house was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit and had plenty of space for yard games. We would stay here, again!
Our time at Brant lake was fabulous. All the fun games that were provided kept the entire family engaged from ages 14 all the way up to the young age of 80. We can not thank you enough for our amazing vacation and for the memories we made.
Posting of vacation rental was accurate and everything was as stated.
My family and I were very happy with this place. It has plenty of common space, that accommodated my family of seven. This place is somewhat secluded, with plenty of outside space. We really enjoyed the fire pit where we spent most of our awake hours and cooked most of our meals. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
Yes I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a low key, quiet place to get away and yet if you're interested other activities you don't have to go far to find them.
Aside from 1 shower not working the the water leak in the opposite bathroom the home was nice. Nice location and quiet. I'm sure the issues with the bathroom will be addressed so it's a good place to get away.
We had a great stay at this home. It was snowing and full on winter. We appreciate that the driveway was frequently plowed and the owner had salt ready for the steps/walkway. We loved sitting by the fire and enjoyed the air hockey and pool table. Kitchen was well stocked. We particularly liked the pots and pans (The Rock brand). Never heard of them before and may look into getting them for ourselves. Thank you for a very enjoyable break from city life.
