"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "What a fabulously quirky and comfortable stay, in a fabulously quirky town! The owners have clearly poured a lot of love and care into this property that you feel the minute you walk in the door. A genuinely warm welcome with everything you could need for good nights sleep. Our family had a wonderful evening here and I wish to thank the owners for creating this magical home from home."

"We enjoyed our overnight stay. It's a gem for people the NC500 and pewho enjoy trout fishing. The loch is loaded with fish. The Inn next door is part of the complex which provides hospitality aplenty, a warm fire and good company. Good beer selection and nice food. There is a BBQ but not the best of weather to use it. The room had most things you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable. The shower was a challenge to work out to use but got there. The kitchen had everything we needed. In short, a great place to stay."

"Wunderbare, abgeschiedene Lage des Hauses mit tollem Blick auf die Landschaft und den See. Uns hat ganz besonders die absolute Stille gefallen. Kein Lärm durch Autos und Maschinen. Wer Ruhe sucht, der findet sie dort.Genügend Platz für 6 Personen. 2 große Bäder. Vom Esstisch aus direkter Blick in die Natur. Stabile Internet-WLAN Verbindung mit ca. 20-25 Mbit/s. Haus gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten an einem Sonntagabend kein heißes Wasser. Per Messengerdienst das Problem gemeldet, keine 3 Minuten später kam die Rückmeldung, das sich gekümmert würde. Und weitere 7 Minuten später war auch schon jemand da und löste das Problem. Da muss man erst in die Highlands, um so einen perfekten Service zu bekommen."

"We had a lovely holiday at Foinavon House. The kitchen was probably the best equipped that we have ever had in a holiday house. Delicious eggs from the owners croft!The views were fantastic and ever changing with the weather,Mairi was responsive and easy to communicate with."

"Tamsin and Mark were very welcoming hosts and generally available if we had a query. The longhouse was perfect, in an incredibly peaceful setting with fabulous views of Loch Broom and the surrounding hills. Internally it was very comfortable, with plenty of space for our party of four. Beautifully furnished with interesting pottery and artwork, some by Tamsin herself. Her on-site artists studio was very impressive and we bought one of her beautiful mixed media paintings.We are already planning to return next May!"

"Lovely location, although 20 miles from any shops. Very peaceful. Nice views and walks. House was cosy with open fire. Ample room for a family and everything you need in the kitchen for cooking etc. Mattresses were not comfortable very lumpy, shower and bath had old hair on tiles and in the bath and plug hole, tiles had grime and mould on them and the shower screen needs replaced as has seen better days, carpet in the bathroom floor is off putting as isn't very hygienic. Not entirely sure but believe the owners entered the property daily while we were out which felt a little intrusive. Over all it was a relaxing stay."
