Staff was very helpful and informative. Hotel is older but that was the charm of the place! We really enjoyed staying and have already booked again in March for the music festival.

We stayed in the Trucountry Suite. The bedroom was roomy with a king-sized bed, very comfortable! AC and a nice hot shower at the end of the day. Enjoyed a beer while watching a very competitive cornhole competition in the ballroom.

We got off to a rough start here when the room my mom wanted was not available when we arrived. We were told the last person who stayed there did not check out on time. My mom was upset with this but the property manager Becky made up for it by giving us an upgraded room which made our day. The lobby bar is a town hangout of sorts so the place comes alive at night. There is plenty to walk to from this hotel so if you’re looking for a historic hotel within walkable distance to a museum, bars and shops, this is the place.

It is a very kitschy place, great owners! Rooms were great, I had gotten one on the third floor and they changed it to the second floor at no extra charge (all stairs and I had a bad knee). Taco Tuesday and karaoke was a hoot!

This hotel/bar/life of the town is awesome. The people are friendly and the rooms are great. If you're into a true small town culture then this is your spot. Plus the hotels haunted so theres that little bonus feature. I travel to Brady for business and I always try to stay at this hotel.

We liked this property very much & will stay again. Only negative was the toilet needed to be stabilized firmly to the floor. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We had a really good stay at the Trucountry Inn. We had stayed at this location for 4 days and we did really enjoy this historic hotel. That bar staff were very friendly and very helpful. It is a small location in a small town so the majority of the guests at the bar were locals, it is apparently one of the very few bars in the town so every night things get lively. Not wild or crazy just lively. The room was very clean and quaint. Oh and I almost forgot the food options at pretty amazing at the bar, anyone reading this should try the nachos.

We absolutely loved our stay at Trucountry. The remodel although still is progress is beautiful. We loved hearing some of the story about the remodel. The staff was so nice and friendly, especially Tina. We felt like we were staying with friends. I would highly recommend staying at Trucountry if you are in the Brady area.

Truly unique Hotel, an updated hotel right of the square in Brady, heart of Texas. Nice bar, and grill at the bar friendly staff and helpful. TACO Tuesday was great with karaoke! Fun place.

Super sweet staff! However, not having a toilet in the room was a bit strange lol but to be expected with a hotel built in 1923, other than that it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to town.

It’s not your typical hotel. I think that is what I loved most about it. The only recommendation I have is do not go here if you have to have an elevator to get to different floors. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very spacious. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud.

the facility is clean but worn, with a nice homey bar downstairs and the rooms are quirky and unique (which i like). located downtown with a restaurant right around the corner that offers guests a meal discount. great room rates. i like staying here, but. the budget room i was in (bonnie & clyde) had a very noisy ac, poor mattress, cheap linens, lots of truck traffic noise and rowdy patrons of the hotel bar underneath my window after midnight. unique to this inexpensive room is that it has a sink in the room, a commode a few steps down the hall and a shower further down the hall. i believe most other rooms are ensuite. the facility is clean but worn, nice homey bar downstairs and the rooms are quirky and unique (which i like). the facility has a certain charm and would likely be one of the places you remember when reminiscing about your trip. also note, there is no elevator.

Roaches in the rooms, not the bad ones , but palmettos , still pretty gross. The showers took a Phd to try and figure out how to balance the temp. They need some work. The hotel itself was awesome, very friendly staff. But i feel they need to have an actual maintenance staff, and go room to room and fix things, spray for bugs. We stayed 2 different nights, in 2 different rooms.
