Tropical Haven *C Guesthouse

Premier local manager, Destination Paradise welcomes you to “Tropical Haven C”… a poolside resort experience, without the high resort prices!

This 1 bed, 1 bath with additional full sofa bed vacation home guesthouse is newly remodeled. Look out your window to see the beautiful resort-style backyard with a LARGE heated saltwater pool and baja sun shelf with umbrellas and plenty of seating. This guesthouse has an open-concept design with a fully equipped kitchen & bar. There is also a fridge, gas BBQ grill and stove and Blackstone flat top for use near the pool and in the pool house kitchen. A pool bathroom is also on the first floor available for all guests. Also poolside is a dining/hang out area with outdoor string lights to set the sunset mood off right.

This listing is for the guesthouse that is behind the main living quarters. Outdoor spaces may be shared with guests of the other 2 units. All units are available to rent together for large families. Look for our listings for A, B, and C (the guesthouse)

“Tropical Haven” is located 2 miles from the beaches of Anna Maria Island and is less than a block to the bus stop. It is also conveniently near several grocery stores, IMG Academy, a movie theater, bowling alley, putt-putt and regular golf courses, fishing, water sports, local entertainment and more.

“Tropical Haven C-Guesthouse” can accommodate up to 4 guests with a bedding configuration as follows:
•Bedroom # 1, 1st Floor: King Bed (1) - Sleeps: 2
•Living Room, 1st Floor: Full Sofa Bed (1) - Sleeps: 2 children

PET POLICY: This home has a $15/pet/day fee. Aggressive breeds (ie. pitbulls, etc) may not be allowed and will need to be approved by management prior to your stay. If you bring your pet without claiming them on the reservation or by trying to avoid paying the pet fee, a minimum fine of $500/pet will be collected. By making this reservation, you agree to this policy. DOGS ONLY. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

POOL HEATER RULES:
Pool heat temp is set at 83º and runs each day from 7 AM until 7
PM from October 15-April 15. Outside of these dates, the Florida weather will naturally heat the pool.
This pool is heated by a heat pump and is only capable of heating to around 15-20 degrees warmer than the ambient temperature. (If the high for the day is 55, the pool may only be able to reach 75).

A SIGNED DESTINATION PARADISE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND ID WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL RESERVATIONS.

Very Disappointing Ending to an Otherwise Nice Stay.We stayed at Tropical Haven in Bradenton from October 10–18, 2025, and while we truly enjoyed the home and the area, our experience ended very poorly. Before we left the property manager charged 300 to our credit card for a few louvers that came off the laundry room door. He did not get an estimate for repair when it would have been easily fixed by someone other than me. I sent him a photo and apologized that the door came apart.I had already explained that it was an accident that could happen to anyone, and that I am recovering from breast cancer, so I don’t have the strength to pull or damage anything forcefully. Instead of understanding, the manager became threatening and dismissive, even going so far as to call me “delusional.”I did get very upset that an accident was not forgiven and that I am a platinum member of Vrbo. I was tired and also upset that in a world where people seem to not be forgiving. Accidents happen. The rules of this property are very strict. The pool heater was not working either. The grill did not work properly. This treatment was deeply upsetting and unprofessional, especially after we took good care of the property and had such a pleasant stay otherwise. It’s unfortunate that what could have been a five-star review ended this way. I would not recommend Tropical Haven or Destination Paradise Vacation Rentals based on how this situation was handled.

The place was nice but no lights at night all lightbulbs burnt out the parking was very difficult and having to transport luggage was hard in the rocks. Otherwise it was pretty well kept nice pool and outdoor area. Probably could use a dishwasher. Not a bad place for the price, clean and generally a great place shared with others. Pet friendly a huge plus !

Three grandkids graduations!!! One college… twins high school one week apart. So vacation Been graduations. Perfect location 2.2 miles from the beaches…. Great places to eat…. If your wife likes to shop!!!

Private Beach House

Everything was as listed. We didn’t like the fact that they only had stools for the island in the kitchen. We prefer having a table and chairs.It was very secluded and quiet though.

Excellent property!

My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon. Very clean house, very clean property! Loved the convenience of being a short drive from the beach, and also having a pool at the house. Overall, would 100% stay here again!

Lovely comfortable accommodation

The suite is accurately listed and very clean. It is nicely decorated and well equipped with unique direct access to a lovely pool. Unfortunately, we didn't know until our meal was ready to cook, that the BBQ did not work and the grill in the poolside kitchen was rather rusty (perhaps just needs to reseasoned). The immediate neighbourhood doesn't offer much but it is very close to Cortez Village and to Bradenton Beach. I wouldn't hesitate to book again or to recommend to others.

Wonderful!

Travis and Vern were wonderful hosts. Due to a hospital stay, we had to change our dates at the last minute. They were able to accommodate us. We were lucky enough to stay in 2 of their units, a 2 bed/2 bath 2nd floor and the single 1-bedroom cottage. Both were spotless and decorated in a beach theme. We were traveling without a car this time. There is a MCAT bus stop within about 2 blocks from the rental. A short 2-mile ride to the beach, then you can hop on the beach Trolly that continuously travels the length of Anna Maria Island and back. Both the bus and the trolly are free. I also rented a bike, which can be stowed on a rack in the front of the bus. There is a nice pool just steps away from the units and a nice public area for the use of the guests. All this for about 1/2 the price per night than staying on the island. I will book this property again for future trips to the beach!

Pool heater has not worked since hurricanes. Guesthouse was nice and clean. Tv controls were not working - handyman tried to fix them but was not entirely successful. Main AC was not working - repairman was ordering a new motor module - portable units worked but were very noisy, especially in bedroom.

Fantastic spot in Cortez! Super Clean and Close to everything!

We needed a place to go for a few days while our home was being tented for termites. This cute 1BR was perfect for us. They accepted animals so our dog could stay with us. The unit was super clean and felt brand new. Tons of towels and supplies to cook and have a great staycaytion. The only issue was the TV sometimes buffered and would go out for a few seconds and then kick back on. The property managers were responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was very quiet and the other rentals were friendly and low key. We would recommend friends or family to stay there in the future. We enjoyed the pool and neighborhood. Definitely would stay there again.

The location was great, very close to the everything that we wanted to do. The pool was also so amazing! The only thing that we noticed was that the WIFI did not seem to work for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will continue using destination stay!

Cottage was spotless, pool was not.

The cottage was spotless. The bed was comfy. The tv was very challenging to use. Needs batteries?? Unfortunately, the pool was filled with leaves and bugs when we arrived. Trey said the pool guy would arrive the next day. He did not. The pool was so cloudy that it was not safe to use. We have a pool so we know how much work it takes to keep the ph and chlorine levels correct. It was 90 plus and we couldn’t swim! I cannot recommend this property due to The condition of The ppl.

Lovely mini-vacation

Lovely house by the pool, close to Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria. Very clean, well appointed kitchen, and super comfortable bed! Will definitely come back!
