Perfect location
The communication from Bob was unusual in the rental world, and does everything to accommodate. I agree with all the good statements by others but will try to address some of the questions I was wondering about the unit prior to arrival. There are 5 units in the building, and the walls must be quite thick because I didn’t seem to hear much of anything. We were worried about our dog barking and disturbing others but wasn’t an issue. I have specifically stayed in Bradenton Beach for the last 8 years because of how narrow the Island is in this location. When you can see the ocean from the bedroom in the back & the bay front in the front, it’s not hard to realize it’s pretty narrow. I alway’s rent a few kayaks and bikes. This was the best property so far to launch a kayak from. Even in High tide it’s usually only a little over knee deep. Especially at low tide, there are many areas to explore in the Bay if you like snorkeling, which I venture to in my kayak. Some areas even become land in the middle of the Bay. Bring some good binoculars or even a spotting scope. It’s fun to watch the ships travel through the bay, which range from quite large to just a group of kayaks. Our teen age/ young adults enjoyed the short bike ride to Bridge Street for fudge, putt-putt, or coffee. Each room has 1 parking spot assigned to them, which are a little larger and more convenient than your other guest space. Check out the Gulf Islands Ferry on Bridge street pier. Pretty cheap.
