Wi-Fi Problems

Nice little place with a short walk to Brandenton Beach. Our only problem was intermittent Wi-Fi and inability to connect to the internet and stream to the main TV. When the Wi-Fi did function, it was very slow. The property manager and "IT guy" were unable to fix it during our stay. No other problems.

Nice property close to beach

Island Getaway’s beach themed unit offers a pleasant place to stay on Anna Maria Island. Its coastal décor and colors invite guests to relax. Attention to guest comfort is evident in every room, including comfy couches, table and counter space for meals and snacks, a selection of books and puzzles, and a comfortable king-sized bed. The nicely landscaped outdoor space with grills, tables, and Adirondack chairs provides additional space to relax. We enjoyed our stay; however, the additional tacked-on fees made the price-point a stretch for our budget.

It was ok

Garbage disposal did not work. Tv in living area did not work easily. Toilet overflow and no plunger in unit. Called at 11 pm and eventually was handed a plunger. With construction nearby on water system for area which could be the reason for our struggles. But really not appreciated

Loved our stay at the end of April!

Really appreciated that this VRBO included all the extras such as beach chairs, cooler, towels, blocks which airline flights restrict from bringing. We walked a couple miles every night to the attractions…plenty of shops, food, and live entertainment.

Overall experience - very good

A fantastic location that was fully stocked with everything a tourist could need. Additionally, the property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. Despite the building showing its age and road construction causing some dust, my overall experience was very good.

Family Vacation

Excellent location. Patio space was lovely, Home was clean. Lots of towels provided. Beach towels, toys, and supplies all provided, excellent vacation spot.

Beach Bungalow

The place was clean & well located. While we understand the owner couldn't control street work which prevented us from parking right next to the property-we feel he could have informed us before the cancellation date. That being said he provided parking and a shuttle within walking distance. Property had a lovely patio area for grilling and sitting.Over-all very comfortable.

Great location to walk to eat and beach

Very clean, cute enclave of attractive properties around a pretty and well attended and landscaped central courtyard, just off busy street but still not noisy. Easy access to beach and a short walk to pier and restaurants shopping. I was hoping for a newer bed...mattress was fine, but sagged where the places were. Note; the couch in front of the TV is petite...to the point of being 3/4 sized for the 'lounge.' However, as we were there to be outdoors and on the beach, not watching TV or stuck inside, not really an issue. The AC's porch and breakfast nook was very welcoming. The full kitchen was attractive but we used it not at all. Shower was also good. We enjoyed out stay. Thanks!

Cozy, well equipped unit in great location

1st time in Bradenton and we loved it. Traffic is heavy during the day, but once there did not need a car. Unit is very pretty, updated, clean and well stocked. Loved the enclosed porch for coffee and breakfast. Minutes to beach and short walk to Bridge St.with shops and lots of restaurants. Also, short walk to 24 hr Kroger for groceries. The grounds of this VRBO are lovely. Well lit, beautifully manicured grounds, grills, tables and chairs. Perfect getaway and would return.

True Island Getaway!

This place was great! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The courtyard was beautiful. Our hosts were awesome! We were steps from the beach, Bridge Street, and the free trolley to enjoy anything else on the island.

Island Getaway Stay

Great location to the beach and Bridge Street. During our stay it was in the 40's and 50's and windy. The unit was warm and cozy and the king size bed was comfortable! The owner was very accommodating letting us have a later check out time.

Cute and cozey!

Our stay was amazing!! We loved the little getaway on the island that was within walking distance to most everything....the beach, the cute historic downtown, restaurants and shopping. The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and even provided beach towels and beach chairs!! We would totally stay again!! Thank you!

Excellent experience!

We had an amazing time and loved this property! Chris was a pleasure to work with and the property is beautiful and well maintained. It is in an ideal location to several beaches, a pier for fishing and relaxation, and Bridge Street with all it's restaurants, shops and fishing pier. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect Spot to Relax by the Beach!

Very nice unit by the beach! Very comfortable and has everything you’ll need for your beach break! Comfy beds, cold AC, and excellent parking… Unit was clean and ready when we arrived. Chris (host) was very pleasant and willing to accommodate a special request we had during our stay. Looking forward to staying here again…

Location and Cleanliness!!!!

If you choose to stay at this property, you will not be disappointed!!! Super clean! As described in the listing, no surprises. Located perfectly between the beach and inter waterway. Idle vacation spot, for two or a family. Again, the cleanest place we have been too!

The little beach bungalow

So close to the beach and convenient beach chairs and beach towels. Clean and clean cool. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely rent again.

Uncomfortable

The A/C in the sun room smelled like fish if you put it on. Called the rental agent & never called back. I found out a few days later that the property was sold to someone else. Although the unit was pretty, kitchen updated, there was not one comfortable place to sit. Location was perfect, steps to the free trolley & beach. They had nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels & anything else you would need for the beach. Best of everything to the new owner.

Weekend get away

Everything was just as listed. The shower is tiny and I'm very glad we brought our own toilet paper and paper towels but other than that everything was good.

Big family vacation

We took a week long extended family vacation and stayed in multiple of Chris's properties. It was a perfect setup so everyone could have their own unit but were able to hang out in the courtyard. We are already talking about when we can come back!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our first stay in Bradenton Beach! Condo was as stated in online listing. The extra amenities provided (beach cart, chairs, umbrella, beach towels!) were much appreciated! Courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the area.

Great Vacation Escape
