"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. "Very nice cottage plenty of room for 6 people and close to all local amenities. Beach is about a 15min walk away but not a problem. Harbour is just at the bottom of the road and plenty of benches to sit and relax. My only issue with all properties on this street/road not just this one is parking. You can literally park one car per property and then still have to ask people to move vehicles to get in and out. Other than that loved our stay."

"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"We enjoyed our stay, it’s very cosy and is in a serene location which is very private. Would definitely return. Hot tub was great. The only things I would change is the windows could’ve been clean as it obscures the beautiful view and the festoon lights did not come on when it got dark. We weren’t able to access the WiFi - if we were staying longer that would’ve been more of an issue. The bed area is so cosy it would’ve been nice to be able to get into a Netflix series or film on an evening. ...

"Lovely character hotel in very peaceful surroundings. The staff were just lovely , friendly and chatty . Our room was in a good location and it was easy to get to the restaurant , bar and spa . The room was a good size and the towels were nice and soft, the hot water plentiful too. The only slight dent in the room was the condition of some of the fixtures and fittings . The carpet had quite a few stains on it , the shower settings were missing parts and the towel radiator missing coatings . That said everything worked just fine . The breakfast was good and the service excellent, good choice of fruit and juices . Hot food was tasty especially the eggs Benedict . The spa was enjoyable, the pool warm and the steam room and sauna just right . All in all an excellent and enjoyable stay ."
