「The buffet breakfast was excellent: there were wide choices to suit every taste. The reception staff were exceptional: we have seldom encountered such a welcoming, considerate team. They did all they could to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. During our stay, there was extensive building work being carried out on the campus -which resulted in diversions and restricted parking spaces - but this was obviously a temporary problem. 」

「The lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air...

「The Passage House Hotel is in such a beautiful location. Lovely scenery and walks. Easy and quick to drive to shops. The hotel is a little tired and dated but that had no impact on our stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool was a great hit with grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed the Passage House Inn which is right next door. Food and drinks looking over the estuary. We would definitely stay again b」
