"This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. "

"Our flight was delayed and our car rental fell through so we ended up taking a taxi from Bergamo. It was early hours of the morning when we arrived and Edin had waited for us on his own accord, checked us in and showed us to our beautiful room ! The room was clean and super comfy. The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the incredible terrain.The following morning Alessia organised a taxi for us to get to Brescia with no issues at all and she was extremely helpful and nice ! Hotel Meandro - Lake View

"Just arrived home from the most amazing trip away to Hotel Meandro. Everything from the arrival, to staff, the room and food was perfect and of course the wonderful view from the room and the Sky Terrace was breathtaking. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We arrived late in the evening after some delays and they made sure we had easy instructions for a self check in. Breakfast was a real highlight of the trip - lovely food and the most attentive and friendly staff who our baby looked forward to seeing every morning. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit nearby villages and there is a lovely little beach about 200m downhill which offers swimming, water sports and a couple of beach bars/restaurants. Hands down the best trip we have ever been on. It’s worth booking a car parking space if you have hired a car as parking can be slightly tight around the hotel itself. Tignale is a lovely spot to visit with beautiful panoramic views over the lake and mountains and a handful of cute restaurants and ice cream parlours which are really reasonably priced. We were so grateful for the complimentary bottled water on arrival and departure as nipping to a shop with an 8 month old wasn’t always the easiest thing in the heat. The indoor swimming pool was such a great additional facility with a little garden by the side for lounging around. The only reason for the 4 stars on facilities was due to our aircon being a little ropey - it worked okay but think it was due a service."

"Lovely property - especially the garden and pool. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner, in a stunning setting. Public rooms very nice. Staff very helpful. Let down was the room. We had an apartment room which was OK space wise for 3 people but finish and amenities not nearly good enough for 5 star. It felt cheap - eg plastic garden chairs inside which couldn’t really take my weight-185lbs!"

"I don't think we could have stayed at a more welcoming and beautiful hotel in Toscolano Moderno. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the variety and quality of food at breakfast was superb, the pool was super clean and refreshing on a hot day. We appreciated the shutters on the windows at night to keep any light out and the air conditioning provided a very comfortable sleep. Everyone who stayed seemed so cheerful. There was a small fridge and safe available and really nice vegan shower gel, shampoo and conditioner to use too. There is a pharmacy and supermarket just across the way. The supermarket sells suncream. We plan to return and would not hesitate to recommend staying here."
