Amazing ski in ski out hotel. Really was a 5 star hotel the staff were so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived and could not do enough for us. The ski in ski out was just amazing and the ski shop on the property was a highlight! Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back to this hotel. Was a true 5 star resort in the alps!

Convenient ski hire attached to the hotel. Rooms are clean and well designed. Food is excellent. Service is very good. Shared Gym with other hotels needs better equipment, ventilation and free weights.

The location of the hotel is ideal. The food at the Atelier is acceptable. There is some good restaurants near by that makes a change of the hotel food. The ski shop is also the ski locker. After a day of ski there is always someone to take care of your boots. A great thing is that boots are not heated (air dried) and are dry for the next day. Customer service is great. Every issue is adressed. The view from the room is breathtaking.

Great location

Second floor room with view over the slopes was fantastic. Room is small but very nice and comfortable. Hotel is nice and ski shop staff and facilities are excellent. Boots dried and heated every night ready for skiing next day! Minor grip was the unexpected parking cost (£25 per day) and the clunky checkin process. The bbq set up on nice days is fantastic value and great quality food.

Amazing views and location, cosy rooms.

We was a family of 6, 2 rooms great location for ski in-out. I read the reviews of the food and was apprehensive and did try to cancel the half board but was unable to prior to arrival. So we proceeded with the half board, I would say it was as if the chefs are trying a bit two hard and the kids selection wasn't great with just 2 options, breakfast is a little limited (could do with a toaster) but still nice although does get limited as the morning progresses although fresh egg choices cooked to order which where nice. This is a small hotel with aprox 30 rooms so I appreciate they have to keep an eye on wastage etc. Bar drinks reasonable for location and the staff where always very nice and everyone was always on hand to help. We used the the on site ski shop for our ski hire and found it reasonable 930 euros for 5 people skit boots poles. We used the onsite underground parking which was handing arriving so late at night with snow, but I found charging 25 per night a little excessive at a 5star hotel. We used the onsite charging for our Tesla (2 on site next to each other) which really did help although we wasn't sure what they had so spent an extra hour charging at the bottom of the mountain in case there was a problem ... but all good and they also have 2 normal electric charges as well so no need to worry at the bottom of the mount about range. Rooms are amazingly decorated and cosy and the views are truly stunning and was lovely to wake up to every morning.

Our stay at Hôtel Taj-I Mah was absolute perfection. What truly set this property apart was the seamless balance between a high-end, luxury experience and a genuinely warm, approachable atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail was amazing, and we felt incredibly well-cared for from the moment we arrived. The little touches made all the difference, from the lovely nightly turndown service to the thoughtful chocolates left on the pillow. We were also impressed by how well they catered to gluten-free options, making dining both stress-free and delicious. A special shout-out must go to the ski room staff, who were fantastic and made the daily transition to the slopes effortless. If you are looking for a hotel that offers top-tier service while remaining comfortable and welcoming, this is the place to stay.

Estrutura e localização ótimos. Serviço razoável.

ESTRUTURA excelente. Quarto aconchegante e com vista deslumbrante. Spa com jacuzzi, saunas e piscina aquecida ampla Restaurantes e bar muito bem decorados e equipados. Ski shop muito bem equipada. Único ponto negativo é que NÃO TEM ACADEMIA (incompatível com o porte do hotel). Gentilmente nos foi concedido acesso ao Residencial vizinho pertencente ao hotel, porém, além de ter que atravessar o estacionamento subterrâneo (extremamente frio), não era uma academia de fato e só possuía esteiras e bicicletas ergométricas, sem aparelhos de musculação. LOCALIZAÇÃO: ótima , anexo às pistas para Arc 1.800 e 1.600 e para La Plagne e com fácil acesso ao teleférico Varet que leva para Aiguille Rouge. REFEIÇÕES : hospedamos no Koh I Noor e posso dizer que as refeições do Taj I Mah são inferiores. Menos elaboradas e com menos opções. Café da manhã sem frutas frescas e com poucas opções de embutidos e queijos. Jantares em algumas ocasiões com pratos pouco elaborados. EQUIPE E SERVIÇOS: Foi o que mais nos desapontou e não é um serviço de hotel 5 estrelas. Os funcionários pouco solícitos e distantes dos hóspedes. No check in não nos foi apresentado o hotel e mostrado suas dependências. A bagagem não foi levada ao quarto. Foi preciso ligar e finalmente ir a recepção para buscá-las. Por 3 ocasiões chegamos do esqui e deparamos com quarto desarrumado. No jantar e café da manhã os funcionários atendem muito lentamente. Hotel precisa melhorar nesse aspecto.

Taj-I-Nope

The good about this hotel is the location...ski in and out, very nice. There is a lift right next to hotel that takes you down to Arcs 1950, very nice. We booked the half board. When you stay at a "5 star" resort, you expect 5 star service, food, and hospitality. I have had better breakfast at a Holiday Inn. The eggs are pure slopp. THe kids cant order pancakes or waffles, and the only omelette you can get is plain or cheese. The dinner experience was horrible. On the 2nd night, took over 2.5 hours for dinner, never served the second course, food was bad. Friends we met had to send their steaks back twice. There are only two choices on the menu for dinner, so If you dont like what they have your out of luck. dinner/food was average Deserts are displayed on a table, no covid safety, they allowed little kids to breathe all over deserts. The worse thing about this hotel is the management. The female director has no idea or concept about hospitality. When my wife complained about the food service, she rolled her eyes like we were being a pain. I spoke with the front desk on two occasions about a food refund, and it wasn't until I wrote an e mail that I got a response from the director. She was rude, unapologetic, and made us feel like she could care less about us. In fact, at check out where I and other guests were complaining about refund, the director said that we could have left and gone somewhere else. I have never been treated so rudely by management.

Hotel 5* sans aucune prévenance pour ses clients

Bonjour, L’hotel a été fermé suite à la fermeture de la station des Arcs et aux mesures COVID-19. Je n’ai été prévenu par personne ni par l’hotelier, bravo pour un hotel 5*, ni par HOTEL.COM Pas de réponse à mon mail de demande de confirmation de fermeture, personne pour répondre au téléphone, ni par l’hotelier, ni par HOTEL.COM Nous sommes toujours dans l’attente du remboursement de notre séjour.

Emplacement top et hôtel Plutôt 4 étoiles.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à l’hôtel Taj i mah, en demi pension. Accueil et service très sympathique, cadre agréable même si les chambres classiques donnent au Nord Est, sur la place d’Arc 2000 et le bruit des ratracks est juste insupportable le matin entre 6 et 8h: nous avons du acheter des boules Quies, un comble pour un 5 étoiles. Isolation phonique parfaite par rapport aux chambres voisines et aux étages adjacents par contre. Restaurant gastronomique le soir très bon mais ne comptez pas manger de plats « montagne ».... ça permet de se « lacher » le midi. Ski room pratique et personnel sympathique avec une jolie boutique . Piscine un peu petite mais chauffée , sauna , Hammam, jacuzzi bien agréables mais ferment à 20h, un peu tôt. Enfin, petite salle de fitness dans l’hôtel voisin accessible par le sous sol ( demander la clef à la réception) mais ferme aussi à 19h45. En résumé: chambre jolie mais bruyante ( préférer les chambres plus chères donnant à l’Ouest sur les pistes), personnel au top , nourriture diététique le soir et bon petit dej, emplacement idéal sur les pistes d’Arc 2000. J’attribuerai plutôt 4 que 5 étoiles.

Great position on the mountain, very convenient ski shop/hire facility within the hotel (with knowledgable and friendly staff) who store your equipment and make it very quick and easy before and after skiing. Hotel is located directly next gondola that drops you down into village of Arc 1950 if you want to access it.

Great hotel, nice rooms. Ok spa (but small if it’s fully booked). Dining is very specific (not for vegetarians or fussy eaters). Superbly friendly staff and ski shop staff.

Definitely stay here!

Amazing ski resort that met our every expectation and more! The service was incredible from our first moment on the premises, the included breakfast was superb, the ski in/ski out, ski shop, lifts and slopes thrilled our skiers, and the spa, restaurants, bar, and nearby shops were excellent! We couldn’t have chosen a better location.
