Let Down

Hotel staff never cleaned the room while we were out sightseeing, the day of the wedding we couldn't shower because we waited around for 2 hours for towels (we ended up using the bedsheets), and then after specifically requesting the bed to be remade before our return (some 8 hours later)it was not done. Very disappointed with the level of service, which is too bad because the hotel is in a great area and could be quite nice if the effort was made.

Close to history, far from Boston

The Battle Green Inn offers an alternative to high prices in Boston. The location was excellent for seeing Lexington and Concord historic sites, making it an excellent choice for a history buff weekend. However, for anyone planning a longer stay in the area and expecting to spend most of that time in Boston, this may not be the best choice.

Absolutely not impressed

This hotel is in the middle of historic downtown Lexington, Mass, an upper middle-class area. I had assumed incorrectly that the hotel would match the area. It did not. The rooms are small, gloomly and windowless. The atrium windows are filthy. The clientele were noisy. The garage is like a creepy basement.
