"Good area, the property was exactly as described. Do be prepared to walk up hills if you do walk to the beach, it is a bit hill-y. Sudi's restaurant is great and a short 2 minute walk to the stay and the beach is around a 10 minute walk. Red hook is a short drive as well. When booking excursions it was a convenient place to stay in, easy access to taxi's down by Sapphire Beach as well. "

"Clean, large deck that overlooked the bay with the auto ferry, beds were comfortable, bathroom looked recently update, and AC in bedrooms worked great. Walkable to Cruz Bay but you are dealing with a steep hill so you will need to be able to handle a steep incline for about 30 yards, walk in from the bay near auto ferry. It had beach chairs and coolers for use as well. Would recommend for a clean but fairly simple place with a water view."

"We had a fantastic stay at this condo on Sapphire Beach! The location was great— we had stunning ocean views from the balcony. One of our favorite parts of the day was enjoying our morning coffee out there, watching the waves roll in.The owner, VJ, was wonderful—always prompt and helpful with communication via text or the VRBO app, which I really appreciated.The condo itself was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The villa was larger than we expected from the photos, and the view was so spectacular my wife didn't want to go to the beaches. Elvis was a great host and very welcoming. The villa itself had all of the beach gear we needed (towels, chairs, snorkel gear). It was perfect for us on our ten year anniversary trip. "

"The property was beautiful, relaxing, had an incredible view, and was very clean. It had the perfect amount of space and then some for our group of 4. Our hosts were very easy to work with and had great recommendations. They also provided beach chairs and towels which was very nice. We would 100% stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment on the lake at Chocolate Hole. The property was beautiful with lots of wildlife to enjoy. We particularly loved the hummingbirds and lizards and the resident cat Lulu! The space was great for two people and it had easy parking on a level road which is rare on St. John! Easy drive into Cruz Bay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!"

"Has a beautiful view. I was just by myself but two bedrooms would be perfect for family. Make sure you rent a Jeep. It is up in the mountains. Do not get any common car you will not be able to get up there without scraping it up."

"The rooms Are very clean and comfortable with oceanfront staff very friendly the only thing that needs to improve is that they don’t have room service. "

"My friend and I stayed here for a couple weeks in January (2025). Having a car is highly recommended as it’s high up on the mountain but the view is worth it.
