L'apparetment de Margot is located in an 18th century freestone building, in one of the most sought after streets of Bordeaux, rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
Renovated with the participation of an architect in May-June 2017, it will seduce you with its neat high-end decoration and its level of comfort and equipment.
In love with my city of Bordeaux, I will be happy to welcome you to Margot's apartment and make you discover all the wonders of this city.

THE APARTMENT INCLUDES:
- reversible air conditioning,
- the living room with a 80 X 200cm sofa bed, design armchairs, 49-inch flat-screen TV, Harman Kardon speaker connected via Bluetooth, Internet WIFI, desk, dining table for 4 people
- the fitted kitchen: microwave oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge / freezer, induction hob with extractor hood, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster (also coffee, tea, herbal tea capsules, quick dinner kit)
- the bedroom with a king size bed of 180 x 200cm with new comfortable bedding, dressing room

The apartment is located in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Bordeaux, one of the most beautiful and rich neighborhood of Bordeaux in the 18th century; it has an impressive number of private mansions, hidden by many luxury boutiques, restaurants and upscale grocery stores.
The exceptional location of l'appartement de Margot will allow you to discover its extraordinary heritage, listed as UNESCO heritage for 10 years, on the quays of the Garonne to run, stroll or simply taste oysters from the Arcachon Basin on Sunday morning walking through the picturesque Chartrons market.
You will discover the many sites and monuments of Bordeaux, the Place Pey Berland, the Town Hall and the Saint-André Cathedral, the city center, the Saint-Pierre, Saint-Michel, Capucins districts, all with soul and character. their own.
You will also discover the many museums including the latest, the City of Wine, the CAPC, the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Museum of Aquitaine.
There are many major events in Bordeaux, including its marathon in April, the wine or river festival in May, Vinexpo in June, the international independent film festival in October

Perfect base to explore Bordeaux and the surrounding area

This is a great apartment in the center of Bordeaux that is clean, quiet, very well-equipped and is perfect as a base to explore the city and the surrounding area. There re plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, there is parking nearby, and the location is excellent. Benedicte was the perfect host; she met us at the apartment even though we arrived late at night, and her communication was very fast. We will definitely stay again on a future trip.

Perfect location in Bordeaux

The location was perfect. Everything we wanted to do and see within the city was within a 15-20 minute walk. The apartment itself was very clean and well appointed. The AC worked very well and was a life saver since it was quite hot while we were there (highs ~90f). Our host also met us at our check in time and was very easy and quick to communicate with via WhatsApp. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends who visit Bordeaux!

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at l'appartement de Margot! A cozy, comfortable apartment with chic decor. Great location - all shopping and restaurants within walking distance. As explained in the details, the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator, however, this was not a problem for us. The host was very helpful with guidance on parking and restaurants. We will definitely recommend!

Lovely place in the Golden Triangle

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities that we needed. A nice touch was providing tea and coffee pods. Benedicte was helpful and nice. Best if you don’t have a lot of luggage to initially lug up the stairs, but you are forewarned that there is no elevator and 4 flights of stairs. Centrally located in the heart of Bordeaux in a very nice neighborhood.

Gem of an apt in excellent location

This is a wonderful apartment in an excellent location within Bordeaux, especially convenient for our first visit. It was an easy 2 min walk to grocery store, many cafes and restaurants, pharmacy. The bus and train stops were also very near by. The AC kept the place cool despite being on the top floor of the building. The stairs are tough at first but quick to get used to. And Benedicte was very responsive, flexible when we arrived early and made things very easy with clear instructions and labels throughout the apt. Would happily stay again during future visits to Bordeaux.

Perfect Bordeaux location

Completely enjoyed our stay for a week in Bordeaux. Nice accommodations and host was very responsive to communication and questions. Quiet location away from busy streets. Just be prepared for 4 flights of stairs.

Beautiful aerie

The design of the apartment is superb, everything you could need tucked away in neat and clever ways. Very stylishly done as well. Nice view of the neighborhood rooftops including the spires of Saint Andre and it’s bell tower. Neighborhood shops are quite tony and the area most charming. Restaurants galore within a short walk. The only downside is that the apartment is on the 4th floor (5th for Americans) and is a definite hoof getting in and out.

What a wonderful little gem! The property was in the perfect location. It was very clean, quiet and had the most comfortable bed. The check-in process was extremely easy. Amazing Location. Lovely apartment.

We loved this place and would definitely stay there again. The apartment was clean and comfortable and EVERYTHING worked great. Don't hesitate to book this property. The location alone is a great reason to book it. There's a ton going on just steps away from the apartment. The restaurants the host suggested were terrific. We went to the Dim Sum restaurant (Madame Pang) and it's a must. Also the Pizza place just at the top of the street was also terrific. Also ECHO....SPECTACULAR! We really could have walked to EVERYTHING but it was pretty cold when we were there so we took an Uber one time.... Go. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing location!

My husband and I came to Bordeaux for 4 days and had a perfect stay in this little apartment! Benedicte was great and gave us lots of recommendations for Bordeaux. We absolutely loved this cute town and this apartment is in a great location with an easy walk to everything. It is on the 4th floor with no lift so just be aware if you are bringing lots of luggage - you will have to carry it up! There is a washer/dryer (single machine that washes and dries) that we used but it didn't work great. Took hours and clothes were still damp... but not a huge deal to us! Would definitely still stay here again as the location was awesome! Thanks for the stay, Benedicte!

Great stay in the Golden Triangle

We stayed at this very cute L'appartement de Margot in early July, 2023. It was just perfect for our weeklong visit while I was in Bordeaux for work and my spouse was able to visit the city. The apartment is in a very central location on Place des Grands Hommes with several restaurants, pubs, and a full supermarket less than a 5 minute walk away. Two Metro stops - Jardin Public (C) and Quinconces (B, C, D) are within 10 minute walks. For two people, the place was just the perfect size. It is definitely a place for couples, since the shower opens up to the bedroom area! There is a small washer/dryer, a nicely equipped kitchen (just no stove), dishwasher, and A/C. As others have commented, it is at the top of a 4 story walkup (no elevator) - which can be a bit challenging the first few days until you get used to it. The host is absolutely wonderful and will answer any question you have. We would stay there again without any hesitation!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

Our stay at L’appartement de Margot was absolutely perfect. This tres chic and impressively designed/furnished apartment was super clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed, including good space, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea were provided along with shampoo, soaps and linens/towels. If you like having washcloth for showering, consider bringing one. Bordeaux is a much larger city than we expected but that is not a bad thing! It feels like a small Paris. Seriously! And, best of all, this apartment is in the center of it all and within easy walks to everything you want to see and do. The closest delicious restaurants are half a block away, as is a grocery market and pharmacy. Clothing shops, cathedrals, more classic French cafes and restaurants are everywhere. The river is maybe a 10 minute walk. Even being at the heart of it all, this apartment is quiet!Benedicte made booking and getting to the apartment easy. Hugo met is at the apartment and helped us in. Both are gracious hosts. We loved that L’appartement de Margo is on the top (4th) floor with a view over nearby rooftops. We also loved the exercise offered by the 90 steps up to (and down from) the apartment…but be advised there is no elevator. If you are planning a trip to Bordeaux, stay here!

Lovely rooftop-view apartment

Lovely apartment on top of classic Bordeaux architecture walk up (4 floors up colimaçon staircase, beware if your luggage is very heavy), lots of natural light, perfectly appointed with all basic amenities. Spotlessly clean. We loved the warm efficient welcome from Bénédicte, the two suitcase stands in the bedroom and the coffee capsules in the kitchen! Perfect for a couple visiting Bordeaux for a few days, ideally located and QUIET. Would stay again without hesitation!
