Activities: - You can visit the Chartrons district, on the banks of the Garonne. This district offers a prime location between the prestigious Esplanade des Quinconces and the Jardin Public. Marked by its wine trade and enriched by its maritime exchanges, its streets are home to sumptuous residences of former merchants alongside wine warehouses. A village within the city, much like the suburb it once was, this mecca for antique dealers and merchants encapsulates the history of Bordeaux. Today, the merchants are still in Chartrons (after a brief hiatus during the 20th century). They have been joined in the narrow streets by antique dealers.
- We also invite you to visit Rue Notre Dame, which stretches for 700 meters and has around forty shops. This iconic street in the neighborhood has seen art galleries and interior design stores flourish over time. Its small shops, which give it a BOBO vibe, are in keeping with its history. A history of the neighborhood that is still dear to the hearts of its residents. Many of them consider themselves Chartronnais long before they consider themselves Bordelais!
