The long pedestrian and cycle path along the Garonne is ideal for residents of the Quinconces neighbourhood who want to adopt a gentler mode of transport, go running or simply take a stroll with their family. The square's exceptional size, making it one of the largest in Europe, is conducive to the regular organisation of major events: the biannual fair, as well as occasional concerts.
