stay away

very bad condition on this "hotel", almost destroyed my vacation, had to change to another hotel, costed me aditional money. Ants and bugs, no change of bed clothing or towels etc. The only positive thing i can say about this place is its bar and the guy working there. Sleep? forget it, hotel at the main road, u hear cars and people all the time, and even the staff talking very loud in the morning hours, i had no sleep for 2 days. I wonder why hotels.com can even recommend this place. It should not show up when searching for hotels in boracay.

the hotel has reasonable price, friendly owner, helpful receptionist. It's quite good to stay there, my husband I really enjoy and love this one/

You get what you pay for

We ended up switching hotels. I am pretty sure they switched our reservation from the time we booked it to when we arrived. We didnt get an air condition unit all we received was a fan. The place was full of ants and they was no way you could sleep in the rooms, way too hot.

Nice staff, but wouldn't recommend

Pleasant staff at this hotel. All very friendly. However, Merlys is located far from the beach. It's either a long walk (30mins) or a taxi ride. The room itself was clean but v basic, and electricity went a few times. No flushing toilet. Cold shower. Uncomfortable bed. No working wifi. It's priced as a budget hotel but I feel you can get better value rooms elsewhere on the island.

Tæt på stranden

I følge kortet skulle dette sted ligge tæt på stranden hvis ikke på stranden. Det gør det ikke! Det ligge midt på havedvejen inden midt på øen, et sted med larm fra køretøjer natten lang. Det er som at være midt i en storby ikke tæt på stranden.
