Welcome to Livin the Dream!

Livin the Dream is a log home boasting tall, vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, long-range mountain views, multiple covered decks, a stunning all-wood interior, granite countertops, two living rooms, game tables, a hot tub, TVs in bedrooms, and sleeping accommodations for up to eighteen (18) people!
*Allows pets with an additional fee.

Centrally located and close to Boone, Valle Crucis, ski resorts, Tweetsie Railroad, and numerous High Country attractions - Livin' the Dream offers the best of both worlds (privacy and convenience). Three deck levels and ample outdoor seating beckon outdoor time with friends and family. The fire pit in the yard offers a chance to unwind and toast marshmallows or tell a story.

***Owners have provided a Level 2 Electric Vehicle 40 Amp Car Charger on the right side of the deck at the driveway. Tesla owners please use adapter included with your vehicle purchase.***

Access
- The home is approached via a 0.7 mi. Gravel mountain road.
- Winter Advisory: 4WD required in winter. Bring chains as a backup to ensure that you can reach the home safely in case of hazardous weather.

VIlas staying

We had such a good time staying at this property. The house is amazing, well equiped, everything was working properly. we had an issue with the fire alarm sensor and it was fixed on the same day. The only thing that could be improved is the cleaning of the house, specially the bed sheets. But overall the house is amazing, I totally recomend this place!

Our family mountain trip.

The house is so beautiful. Great location for everything needed. This was our second time staying here and we look forward to staying again. If I could give any suggestions that would be, a keurig coffee maker, new cookie sheets, new frying pan. We truly were blessed by staying in this beautiful home with our family.

Great place and great location

We had 3 families and some friends and all of our teenagers/early 20’s kids with us. Great spacious place, all the kids stayed on the bottom level in the room with the bunks with pool table and hot tub near by. The adults stayed on the main and upper level. Hot tub, fire pit, and big outdoor heater available. Cool swings on the deck; great view of the mountains. The kitchen was fully equipped!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful home

We stayed here as our son is in the military and got married on the mountain top this weekend. This home was absolutely spotless , vey comfortable and absolutely breathtaking views . Not to mention had everything you needed ! We had so much room to get the bride and groom ready as well as the rest of us , so very happy !

Enjoyed our stay

My family enjoyed the accommodations and the location. The home was clean, spacious and had lots to do! My only concern was the driveway. It was narrow and had a bit of a hill. It was difficult to turn our Yukon xl around in.

Wow

We had 10 adults an 5 children 5 and under. From the moment we checked in until the minute we left we were over the top impressed with the location the accommodations and the support of that wonderful service staff. If there was anything less than impressive at all It was the drive up the winding road it was scenic but a little intimidating. Overall we loved it we'll stay again

Beautiful cabin!

My husband and I along with our two kids (in their mid 20s) and their fiancés enjoyed a long weekend at Livin the Dream. Cabin was exactly as described in listing. Gravel road up mountain well maintained. SUV definitely best. But one car was Nissan Maxima and made it ok. Game room provided lots of fun. Wrap around deck very nice. Fire pit area great. We requested and had bundles of firewood delivered ($22 per bundle). Bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed. Approx 10-15 drive into Boone. We would stay again!

Nice place in the mountains with easy access to town. Had only one problem with the hot tub that was not operational but host refunded us for that part of the trip.
