It was nice that all the bedrooms were spread out so you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other.
I didn’t see anywhere initially where it mentioned only enough room for 2 vehicles. For a 4 bedroom house able to accommodate 10 people, more parking would have been preferred.
Everything you need is right there there were 6 of us ,plenty of room for all, very please with everything very quiet and relaxing the indoor pool was great. Outdoor pool alittle cool but expected because of cool night, loved the design of the cabin, will definitely stay there again
Great location and easy to get to. 15 minutes from Downtown Boone. Beautiful interior. Parking was a challenge but it all worked out. Will definitely stay there again.
Loved the location, the deck became a favorite spot, enjoyed the amenities offered on the property, and the location to everything in the area was great. Suggest Property Manager check on property cleanliness before next guest moves in. The house was poorly cleaned, if at all. Kitchen counters were sticky, carpets/rugs were not vacuumed, shower in Master suite had substantial black mold around faucets, doors and drain, floors were not mopped, if dusted, it was poorly done, and toilet bowls had black mold under the rims that bled down each time you flushed. I spent a good amount of time cleaning (to meet my standard) and kept it that way. Since we have booked the house again for next year, I hope we have better luck when we arrive.
It was freezing inside when we got there and Took 2 hours to get from 60 to 70. The tv box in upstairs bedroom didn’t work. There was dirty water in the washer that wouldn’t drain. When we put on the oven smoke and toxic fumes came out until we turned it off and rinsed the oven cleaning spray that was not properly removed.
Wonderful cabin with room for everyone to have personal space. Great facilities. The only negatives were running out of hot water, after one shower the water was cold. Struggled with dishwasher, maybe include directions. Loved the place and will stay again.
The unit is of a comfortable size. We had 9 people and had plenty of room. We never felt cramped or crowded. The parking area could be better, not a lot of room for 2 vehicles. No room to turn around, we had to back down the driveway. The unit is clean but not perfect. The upstairs bathroom was not completely cleaned... the floor was dirty and something left in the toilet (not human waste). There were cobwebs throughout the main level that need to be taken care of. Over all it is a great place to stay. We never felt like it was a dirty place or unsafe. The community is beautiful. We would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and will def return. Very comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, immaculate home.
Parking for 2 SUV's was problematic...not enough room! and while we followed the rules of only 2 vehicles allowed at home, our next door renters did not and had 4 vehicles at their rental which hemmed us in many times...this issue is the only one encountered during our stay at the Anglers Lodge.
Lovely home with everything needed for a relaxing vacation!

Beautiful, well appointed home!
Angler's Lodge was such a beautiful house for our weekend girls getaway. The house was so lovely and we loved all the natural sunlight. All bedrooms were great, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We all loved the decor, and would have all carried off the beautiful rug in the den! There was plenty of plush towels, good lighting, and appreciated all the dishes, glasses and wine glasses. The Foscoe Rental Company was super easy to work with as well. The house is very conveniently located between Boone and Banner Elk, and easy driving to both. We also felt secure in the gated community. We gave the house 4 out of 5 stars overall for 3 reasons. Much of the bedding has picks in the sheets, the hot water for showers runs out too quickly, especially for a house that sleeps 12, and the den needs at least one more comfortable chair. Overall, very nice house, however.

Beautiful cabin!
The cabin was beautiful and has plenty of room to spread our. My only complaint is the level of cleanliness. The floors were sticky and our socks were black from wearing them. Other than that, it was perfect!

Great place to vacation.
The place was clean and well appointed and we enjoyed our stay. Parking was tight but we knew that going in and the overflow parking was close by. Check in and check out were very simple and convenient. And the folks at check in were very helpful with recommendations. Overall, very nice.

Very nice
Very clean. Kitchen was very up-to-date. All mattresses had mattress covers which I liked. I could not figure out how to lock the door, but I did not read my directions before calling. The directions were printed on the package given at registration.
My only complaint would be parking. If there had been people staying at the house beside us, it would have been very tight!
The pool was actuallly warm like a heated/indoor pool should be!

Weekend with the family
Enjoyed staying at Angler's Lodge. The home was more then we expected. Well designed and plenty of room for my wife and I, two grown sons, their wives and four grandchildren. Thinking of making this an annual event at the Angler's Lodge.

Our home away from home was beautiful with a serene view of the mountain and softly falling snow!
We had a wonderful family weekend at Angler's lodge! Valentines day weekend spent with the ones you love could not have happened at a better location. We had plenty of room for our family of 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 grandchildren ages 6,3,3,1. We enjoyed tubing and coming back to the beautiful view of falling snow. Even though we were in a community of houses it felt as if we were on our own little mountain. The wonderfully appointed kitchen allowed us to create comfort foods as we enjoyed the view. We had plenty of room in the family area to play games and enjoy meals together. The indoor pool was quite a hit when wind chills were in the negative numbers. Shopping at the mall and outlets was nearby as well as the always required trip to Mast General Store. It only took a few minutes for a Krispy Kreme doughnut run as well. The fitness room and pool were within walking distance and made each early morning workout before babies got busy an easy addition to our day. We would love to come back in the summer season as well to enjoy all Echota has to offer. The office staff was so helpful. When the refrigerator went out, stocked full of weekend food, they came quickly to the rescue with the loan of their own mini fridge. Although it was too cold to enjoy our lovely deck, I longed to get out there with a good book. Thank you for a beautiful weekend and a ton of family memories.

Nice enjoyable place, few things could make it better
Overall we had a good experience. Liked the deck, community pool, and location. Kids had a good time in the pool. Surroundings are beautiful.
Few things that we felt were not up to the mark :
- size : it says 4b/4b but frankly the 4th bedroom in the basement is barely ok. Plus, all the rooms are small. Living areas and deck are also pretty small. If there are 12 people in the group, you want to spend too much time inside of the house
- parking : barely enough for 2 cars
- misc : the door locks need sherlock holmes to figure how to lock them. they've instructions buried deep somewhere in the package. should have been more obvious. trash cans are far away from the property, you've to "drive" to them.
